Reutilizando restos de pastillas de jabón - Reusing rests of bar soap

En estos días, que no paran de subir los precios, en mi opinión, hay que reutilizar y aprovechar todo lo que tenemos en casa, para que nuestro dinero sea lo más eficaz posible. He cortado y rallado los restos de las pastillas de jabón de casa. Después, los añado cuándo hago lavadora de colores claros, así aumento la eficacia del lavado y ahorro un poquito. Os muestro primero los trozos de jabón y más tarde cómo son las "virutas" de jabón, una vez ralladas y preparadas para añadir en la lavadora junto al jabón preferido para mi lavado de ropa.

In these days, when prices are constantly rising, in my opinion, we need to reuse and use everything we have at home, so that our money is as effective as possible. I cut and scrubbed the small pieces of bar soap from home. Then, I add them when I make light-colored washing machine, so increase the efficiency of the wash and save a little. I show you first the pieces of soap and later how are they are once shredded and ready to add in the washing machine next to the soap I prefer for my laundry.

Hace unos días, estuvimos de vacaciones en Austria y República Eslovaca. En el Hotel Clarion Congress de Bratislava, he visto cómo han reciclado estas latas de la famosa sopa de tomate Campbell en unas lámparas que se encuentran en el Hall. Me parece una idea muy divertida, os adjunto estas fotos, espero os gusten.

A few days ago, we were on vacation in Austria and the Slovak Republic. At the Clarion Congress Hotel in Bratislava, I have seen how they have recycled these cans of the famous Campbell tomato soup into lamps that are found in the Hall. I think, it’s a very funny idea, I have enclosed these photos, I hope you like them.

Sistema sencillo para recoger cables de teléfonos - Simple system to pick up the cables for mobiles phones

Mi marido ha hecho un sistema sencillo para recoger los cables para cargar las baterías de los teléfonos móviles aprovechando el "brazo" del soporte metálico de la plataforma que sujeta la televisión en nuestra casa y se une a la pared.  Él ha cogido unos alambres blancos. Primero, los ha puesto como un aro para unirse al "brazo" del soporte de la tv. Segundo, los ha enrollado creando un gancho dónde puedes colocar los cables para los teléfonos móviles. Es algo simple, pero funciona correctamente para coger y mantener los cables ordenador y no tenerlos todos encima de la mesa. Os muestro esta idea en las fotos siguientes.

My husband has made a simple system to pick up the cables for charging mobile phone batteries by using the "arm" of the metal support of the platform that holds the TV in our house and attaches to the wall. He has picked up some white wires. Firstly, he put them as a ring to join the "arm" of the TV stand. Secondly, he has rolled them up creating a hook where you can place the cables for mobile phones. It’s something simple, but it works properly to grab and hold the computer cables and not have them all on the table. I show you this idea in the following photos.

Pelotas handmade para hacer malabares - Handmade balls for juggling

Mi hija, para la asignatura de Educación Física tenía que hacer tres pelotas para aprender malabares. El proceso y los ingredientes para hacer este tipo de pelotas de malabares son sencillos. Los materiales que necesitas son: plástico film (del que se usa para tapar ensaladas u otros alimentos en la nevera), 10 globos de plástico, un par de tijeras y algún relleno seco como: lentejas, arroz o garbanzos. Primero: cortas un trozo de film y pones el relleno, mi hija usó arroz. Segundo: lo cierras y luego lo envuelves con tres globos a los que has cortado la boquilla previamente para que tenga forma de pelota. Es importante, que quede bien envuelto y no se vea nada del relleno. Tienes que repetir este proceso, tres veces para que tengas tres pelotas para poder empezar a hacer tus malabares. Ahora, ¡a practicar!

My daughter, for the subject of Physical Education had to make three balls to learn juggling. The process and ingredients for making this type of malabar balls are simple. The materials you need are: plastic film (used to cover salads or other foods in the fridge), 10 plastic balloons, a pair of scissors and some dry fillers such as lentils, rice or chickpeas. First: cut a piece of film and put the filling, my daughter used white rice. Second: you close it and then wrap it with three balloons to which you cut the nozzle previously so that it has a ball shape. It is important that it stays well wrapped and nothing is seen from the filling. You have to repeat this process, three times so that you have three balls in order to start doing your juggling. Now, it is time to practice!

Nacimiento con materiales reciclados - Birth with recycled materials

Mi hija ha hecho un Nacimiento en su Escuela para celebrar la llegada de la Navidad. Ha usado materiales reciclados como: un par de cajas de cartón y algunos rollos de papel de cocina y rollos de papel higiénico. Es un Nacimiento sencillo, y en mi opinión bonito. 

El proceso es el siguiente:

• Primero: Cortar los rollos a la medida de los personajes que se van a hacer.

• Segundo: Pintar los rollos con pintura de tempera blanca y luego dibujar los personajes: San José, la Virgen María, el Niño Jesús, el Ángel, la Mula y el Buey.

• Tercero: Hacer unos cortes en dos cilindros y añadir un cartón para crear las patas de los dos animales.

• Cuarto: Decorar las dos cajas, una pegando una servilleta oscura para crear el cielo y pegar en la otra un papel que imita el musgo para crear el suelo.

• Quinto: Por último poner las cajas y pegar una encima de la otra. Y poner los personajes. Este es el resultado.

My daughter has made a Birth in her School to celebrate the arrival of Christmas. She has used recycled materials such as: a couple of cardboard boxes and some kitchen paper rolls and toilet paper rolls. It is a simple birth, and in my opinion cute. 

The process is as follows: 

• First: Cut the rolls to fit the characters you are going to make. 
• Second: Paint the rolls with white paint and then draw the characters: Saint Joseph, the Virgin Mary, the Child Jesus, the Angel, the Mule and the Ox. 
• Third: Make some cuts in two cylinders and add a cardboard to create the legs of the two animals. 
• Fourth: Decorate the two boxes, one by gluing a dark napkin to create the sky and glue on the other a paper that mimics moss to create the floor.
• Fifth: Finally put the boxes and glue one on top of the other. And put the characters. This is the result.

Atrezzos o accesorios caseros para un photocall o photoboot divertido - Handmades Accesories for a funny photocall or photoboot

Hace unos días, mi marido y yo hemos hecho para un regalo de un familiar, unos atrezzos o accesorios para hacer un photocall o photoboot. Los atrezzos o accesorios se hacen con unas varillas de madera y unos trozos de goma eva rosa y gris con purpurina. Simplemente, se pegan usando una pistola de silicona caliente. Los photocall o photoboot, son unos espacios para hacer fotos divertidas, dónde se pueden usar estos atrezzos o accesorios para "disfrazarse" de forma rápida y reírse un poco. Few days ago, my husband and I have made for a gift from a family member, some accessories to make a photocall or photoboot. The accesories are made with wooden sticks and pieces of pink and gray glitter eva rubber (foam). They are simply stuck together using a hot silicone gun. The photocall or photoboot, are some spaces to make fun photos, where you can use these accesories to "dress up" quickly and laugh a little. Here I show you the photos of these accesories.
