Bolsas de papel decoradas como un Muñeco de Nieve y un Reno - Paper Bags decorated like a Snowman and a Reindeer

Mi hija ha decorado un par de bolsas de cartón con personajes típicos de Navidad, reutilizando algunos trozos de cartulinas que teníamos en casa y trozos de goma eva. Es muy sencillo, una bolsa de papel blanca, la ha decorado como un muñeco de nieve y una bolsa de papel marrón tipo kraft como la cara de un reno a la cuál le faltan los cuernos...¡Lo siento, nos hemos olvidado!
El hecho más importante es que mi hija ha estado muy contenta realizando estas decoraciones y yo también.

My daughter has decorated a couple of cardboard bags with typical Christmas characters, reusing some pieces of cardboard that we had at home and pieces of eva foam. It is very simple, a white paper bag, has been decorated like a snowman and a brown kraft paper bag like the face of a reindeer missing its horns... Sorry, we forgot them! 
The most important fact is that my daughter has been very happy making these decorations and me too.

Me parece curioso cómo las compañías aéreas están innovando en la decoración de las bolsas que se usan cuándo te sientes mal. Esta bolsa que os muestro aquí pertenece a la compañía "Vueling". Ha ganado un premio en el Concurso: "Art in the Bag". Me gusta porque, es un juego dónde tienes que buscar las parejas que hay en toda la bolsa.

I find curious how the airline companies are innovating in the decoration of the bags that are used when you feel bad. This bag that I show here belongs to the company "Vueling". It has won a prize in the competition: "Art in the Bag". I like it because, it is a game where you have to find the matching pairs that are in the bag.

Hace unas semanas, volé con Brussels Airlines para un viaje y me parecieron divertidas las ideas que proponen en la bolsa que ofrecen en el asiento. Ellos dicen:
"Esta bolsa de papel puede ser usada como:
-una pequeña papelera para ayudar a mantener este avión limpio
-un trozo de papel para garabatear o para practicar tus habilidades haciendo origami
-papel de regalo para envolver los regalos que has olvidado envolver para tus seres queridos

Few weeks ago, I flew with Brussels Airlines for a trip and I found funny the ideas proposed in the bag that they offer in the seat. They say:
"This paper bag can be used as:
-a little bin so you can help keep this airplane clean
-a piece of paper to doodle on or to practice your origami skills
-wrapping paper should you have forgotten to wrap the presents for your loved ones
-a sick bag when you're not feeling 100%"

Regalo por nacimiento del bebé - Gift for birth of baby

Quería mostrar esta entrada hace unos meses, pero, ¡se me olvidó hacerlo! Antes de que sea más tarde, voy a mostrarlo ahora. Se trata de un detalle de agradecimiento, que se regala a los visitantes, después de conocer a un bebé recién nacido. Mi marido estuvo visitando al hijo de un compañero de trabajo y los felices padres le regalaron una bolsa de caramelos de papel que habían personalizado ellos mismos con el nombre del bebé. La bolsa se cerraba con una etiqueta y una pinza. Es algo sencillo y agradable.

I wanted to show this entry few months ago, but, I forgot to do it! Until it is later, I'm going to show you now. It is a detail of gratitude, that gives to the guests, after meeting a newborn baby. My husband was visiting the son of a workmate and the happy parents gave him a bag of sweets of paper that they themselves had customized with the name of the baby. The bag is closed with a label and a clothespin. It is something simple and pleasant.

Esta bolsa con cara de búho, es la que repartió nuestra sobrina S., el año pasado a todos los niños que asistieron a su fiesta de su Cumpleaños. A mi hija, le gustaron mucho los pequeños regalos que contenía y a mí la decoración de la bolsa. Este modelo de bolsa, es comprada en una tienda. Pero,  pienso que tomando esta bolsa como plantilla yo puedo decorar alguna otra bolsa similar. Es una bolsa divertida.

This bag with an owl face, is that one our niece S., gave to all the children who were at her Birthday's party last year. To my daughter, liked very much the small gifts that contained and to me the decoration of the bag. This model of bag, is purchased in a shop. But, I think that taking this bag as a template I can decorate any other similar bag. It is a fun bag.

La tía de mi marido K.,, trabajaba hasta hace pocos meses en una Residencia para Discapacitados Intelectuales. Allí, cada día hacían varias actividades y muchas manualidades. Una de ellas, es esta bolsa de papel que han pintando con flores y mucho color. Pienso que las manualidades son estupendas para todo el mundo, especialmente si el resultado es tan alegre como este, ¿verdad?

My husband's aunt K., was employed until few months ago at a Residence for Intellectual Disabled people. There, every day they made several activities and many crafts. One of them, is this paper bag that they have painted with flowers and a lot of colour. I think that crafts are wonderful for everybody, specially if the result is so cheerful as this one, isn't it?

He reciclado un par de bolsas nuevas de esas que ofrecen las compañías aéreas, en el asiento delantero del avión para los vómitos, para llevarlas en nuestro coche. Son una gentileza de la compañía y en mi opinión son perfectas para llevar en tu vehículo, cuándo tu hija o hijo se marea, porque son impermeables y muy útiles.

I have recycled a couple of new bags which ones offer the airlines, in the front seat of the plane for the vomits, to take them in our car. They are a courtesy of the company and in my opinion they are perfect to take in your car, when your daughter or son feels sick, because they are waterproof and very useful.

Quisiera compartir con vosotros, una idea para decorar un poco una bolsa de papel. Es algo muy sencillo. Primero, se dobla la bolsa de papel en varios pliegues. Después, se perfora con un perforador. Yo he utilizado uno con forma de tulipán pero puede ser un simple agujero u otro motivo. Se estira y se rellena con lo que desees. Yo he puesto unos dulces que nos ha regalado mi hermana O. ¡Delicioso!

I would like to share with you, on an idea to decorate a bit a paper bag. It is something very simple. Firstly, you the paper bag is doubled in several folds. Later, it is perforated by a hole punch. I have used one with form of tulip but it can be a simple hole punch or another motive. It stretches and is refilled with what you wish. I have put some sweets that has given us my sister O. Delicious!

Bolsa para San Nicolás - Bag for Saint Nicholas or Sinterklaas

He decorado una bolsa de papel de color rojo para llenarla con los regalos de San Nicolás o Sinterklaas (este Santo, es quién trae los regalos a los niños en Países Bajos). Para ello, he recortado la figura de San Nicolás y el paje Piet de un folleto de una tienda llamada Hema, que es Holandesa . Después, los he pegado en la bolsa usando cinta washi en rayas blancas y rojas. Creo que es más divertido de esta forma recibir los regalos.

I have decorated a paper bag of red color to fill it with the gifts of Saint Nicholas or Sinterklaas (this Saint, is the one who brings the gifts to the children in the Netherlands). For it, I have cut away the figure of Saint Nicholas and the page boy Piet of a leaflet of a shop called Hema, which one is Dutch. Later, I have stuck them in the bag using washi tape in white and red stripes. I believe that it is more funny to receive the gifts of this way.

Queríamos regalar una maceta de perejil a mi madre, la cuál habíamos nosotros sembrado y cuidado en los últimos meses. Teníamos dudas para decorarla, podíamos haberlo hecho con tejido de yute, celofán o papel de regalo. Finalmente, hemos decidido reutilizar una bolsa de cartón para facilitar su transporte. Para no ensuciar el fondo de la bolsa, hemos puesto una bandeja de poliestireno que también la hace más estable.

We had doubts about decorating it, we could have done using a piece of fabric of jute, cellophane or gift paper. Finally, we have decided to reused a paper bag to facilitate its transport. Not to dirty the bottom of the bag, we have put a tray of polystyrene that also makes it stabler.
