He usado la bandeja de plástico de una pizza congelada como bandeja para recoger el agua que sobra cuándo riego mis plantas, así no malgasto ni una gota de este valioso líquido. Como curiosidad comento que la pizza era vegetal, una de mis favoritas,..., me pregunto, ¿quién se puede resistir a una pizza?

Reutilizando un par de troncos - Reusing a pair of logs

Teníamos dos troncos en nuestra casa y hemos decidido reciclarlos como soporte para un par de lámparas solares. Mi marido los ha fijado con un par de tornillos. Espero que aporten algo de iluminación a nuestra terraza. Este es el resultado.

We had two logs in our home and we have decided to recycle them as support for a couple of solar lamps. My husband has fixed them with a couple of screws. I hope that they contribute something from lighting to our terrace. This one is the result.

Postales de las Vacaciones - Holidays Postcards

Ahora que estamos en Verano (aquí, en el Hemisferio Norte), mucha gente se va de fuera de su casa por vacaciones. Algunos de nuestros familiares y amigos se acuerdan de nosotros y nos envían sus mejores deseos con una postal desde sus destinos de vacaciones. Usando una cinta amarilla y unas pinzas pequeñas, he expuesto algunas de las postales que hemos recibido, es como viajar sin salir de casa.

We are now in Summer time (here, in the Hemisphere North), many people going out from their home for holidays. Some of our relatives and friends remember us and send their better desires from their holidays destinations sending us a postcard. Using a yellow ribbons and small clothespins, I have exposed some of the postcards that we have received, it is like to travel without going out of house.

I have made a couple of swans of origami, as you know,it is the Japanese skill and art to make figures using a special paper. Later, I have punctured them with a toothpick and placed on two muffins as toppers. in the following link of youtube, you can see how to create an origami's swam.

Necesitaba una funda de cojín urgente por culpa de una mancha inesperada. Entonces, he utilizado un tote bag, que me regalaron mis hermanas de un viaje a Viena. Muestra un cuadro muy famoso, llamado "El beso" de Gustav Klim. Así he solucionado esta incidencia.

He reutilizado una taza de café para decorar una mesa como pequeño florero. He puesto una rosa y he utilizado colores claros, tipo pastel. Como curiosidad, puedo contaros que el tapete pertenecía a mi madre y lleva varias décadas en la familia.
