Una buena idea para reciclar un Dvd, es colgarlo cerca de tus plantas. Al ser un objeto brillante y no pesado que se mueve fácil con el viento, es muy útil para espantar a los pájaros que pueden estropear tus plantas o ensuciar tu terraza o jardín.

He reciclado dos trozos de papeles de regalo para crear una cadena que va a adornar una fiesta de Cumpleaños infantil. He cortado tiras de papel de 2 cms de ancho por 18 cm de largo. Las he doblado y unido con fixo formando una cadena. Después añadiré unos globos y seguro será divertido.

I have recycled two pieces of gift's paper to create a chain which one is going to decorate a child's Birthday party. I have cut strips of paper of 2 cms of width for 18 cm of length. I have folded and joined them with scotch tape forming a chain. Later I will add some balloons and I am sure that it will be funny.

El fin de semana hicimos una tarta de platano y queríamos transportarla para compartir con nuestra familia. Nuestro envase para transportar tartas estaba ocupado, así que tuvimos que improvisar un envase con una base de tartas de cartón, dos tripodes de plástico (de esos para separar las pizzas de su caja), una tapa de plástico y una cuerda. Teniendo cuidado en el viaje, llegó en perfectas condiciones.

Last weekend we baked a Banana's cake and we wanted to transport it to share with our family. Our package to transport cakes was occupied, so we had to improvise a package with a base of cardboard or cakes, two plastic tripods "package savers" is the name in English, I think so (it means, the article to separate the pizzas inside of a box), a plastic lid and a string. Taking care of our trip, it arrived in perfect conditions.

Quisiera desear hoy a los Irlandeses un feliz día de San Patricio. Visité este país hace unos años y me encantó la amabilidad de sus habitantes. En los pocos tréboles que quedan en una de mis macetas (una oruga, ¡los ha comido casi todos!), he puesto unos palitos de helado decorados para celebrar un feliz día de San Patricio.

I would like to wish today to all Irish people a happy Saint Patrick's day. I visited this country a few years ago and I was charmed with the friendliness of their inhabitants. In one of my pots, there is some clovers yet (a caterpillar, has eaten almost all!), I have put two popsicle sticks decorated to celebrate a happy Saint Patrick's day.

Día de la Mujer - Woman's Day

Hoy 08 de Marzo, se celebra el día de la mujer en todo el planeta. En Turín, (Italia) en este día se regalan ramitos de mimosas en "la festa della donna" para reivindicar los derechos sociales y políticos de las mujeres que desgraciadamente en el siglo XXI aún siguen sin respetarse en muchos lugares del mundo. Me gustaría unirme en esta iniciativa con mi ramillete de mimosas y desear un feliz día a todas las mujeres.

Today on March 08th, it is celebrated the day of the woman in all the planet. In Turin, (Italy) this day are given small sprigs of wattles (ganus acacia) in " la festa della donna " to claim the social and political rights of the women who unfortunately in the 21st century still continue without be respecting in many places of the world. I would like to join me in this initiative with my bouquet of wattles and to wish a happy day to all the women.

He encontrado estas plantillas que puedes imprimir en color o en blanco y negro. He elegido esta última opción, las he coloreado con lápices, las he recortado y como paso final les he pegado un palito de polo para sujetarlas con la mano. Ha sido divertido.

 I have found these templates that you can print on color or in black and white. I have chosen the latter option, I have colored them with pencils, I have cut them away and as last step I they have stuck a small popsicle stick to hold them with the hand. It has been funny.
