En la exposición de Re-Crea celebrada en junio de 2019, he visto este objeto cuyo título es: Limulus, y su Autora es: Rosana Guerrero Montero. Esta Autora ha reciclado varias piezas metálicas, incluidas llaves, para crear este antiguo animal. Es un tipo de cangrejo que sólo se encuentra en América del Norte y Asia. En los últimos años se ha estudiado y desgraciadamente, se le ha capturado mucho debido a las propiedades protectoras de su sangre de color azul, rica en cobre. Merece la pena, si podéis leer un poco sobre este curioso animal.

Already several weeks ago I bought a couple of boxes that are usually used to store socks or underwear, I have preferred to reuse them to store some of my music Cds, because it has the perfect size to store them and have them available. Here I have one of my favorite Cds, "Pájaros en la cabeza" from the Spanish band "Amaral". I leave you one of their best songs in my opinion.

En estas semanas de Primavera, mi hija y yo hemos hecho algunas manualidades. Hoy, quisiera mostraros un collar y dos pulseras que hemos hecho. Los materiales son: lana, goma elástica y pajitas de plástico. Es muy simple, cortamos las pajitas en trozos que después insertamos en la hebra de lana o goma elástica. Anudamos y hacemos un collar o una pulsera. Voilá! Tenemos unas "joyas" divertidas para llevar estos días.

In these Spring weeks, my daughter and I have made some crafts. Today, I would like to show you a necklace and two bracelets that we have made. The materials are: wool, elastic rubber and plastic straws. It is very simple, we cut the straws into pieces that we then insert into the wool thread or elastic rubber. We knot and make a necklace or a bracelet. Voila! We have some fun "jewels" to wear these days.

Un Comedero para pájaros reutilizando una botella de agua - A Bird Feeder reusing a plastic water bottle

Para un proyecto de Ciencias Naturales de la Escuela de mi hija, hemos hecho un Comedero para Pájaros. Los materiales que hemos usado son: pienso para pájaros, una cuchara de plástico, una botella de plástico, un trozo de cuerda, cinta washi tape, un cuchillo y unas tijeras. Primero, hemos introducido el pienso. Segundo, hemos hecho un pequeño corte en la botella para poner la cuchara que nos servirá de dispensador. Tercero, hemos puesto una cuerda para colgarlo y cuarto lo hemos decorado con cinta washi tape. Aquí están las fotos de esta elaboración y el resultado.

For a Natural science project at my daughter’s school, we made a bird feeder. The materials we have used are: bird feed, a plastic spoon, a plastic bottle, a chunk of rope, washi tape, a knife and a pair of scissors. First, we introduced the feed. Second, we made a small cut in the bottle to put the spoon that will serve as a dispenser. Third, we put a rope to hang it and fourth we decorated it with washi tape. En la Exposición que se celebró en junio de 2019, en Granada, España llamada: "Re-crea", he visto este curioso vestido creado usando materiales reciclados. El adorno del cuello y la falda están hechos con tela de paraguas, el cuerpo del vestido también con este tejido y además lo han decorado con papel de periódico y cristales incrustados con hilo metálico. Si se os rompe un paraguas en estos días, quizás podéis hacer un vestido similar, ¿verdad?

Hola a todos: hoy primer domingo del mes de mayo, se celebra en España, el "día de la Madre". Primero, he felicitado a mi madre, segundo a otras madres que conozco y después mi hija me ha regalado unos dibujos preciosos hechos por ella y ha horneado estas galletas con ayuda de su papá, mi marido. Una de estas galletas es especial para mí, porque tiene forma de corazón, ¡qué bonito detalle! Os deseo un: "Feliz día de la Madre a todas".

Firstly, I have congratulated my mother, second I have congratuled to other mothers that I know, later my daughter has given to me some beautiful drawings done by herself and she has baked these cookies with the help of her father, my husband.
