He reutilizado la Estantería "Havern" de Ikea, para poner algunos de mis collares, pulseras,... Esta estantería que consta de estante y ganchos la ofrecen en el catálogo de Ikea, en los accesorios para el baño, pero yo prefiero reutilizarla para algunas de mis joyas. No la tengo demasiado ordenada, pero sí  fácil y cómoda para elegir un complemente rápido.

I have reused the Rack "Havern" by Ikea, to put some of my necklaces, bracelets... This rack that consists of shelf and hooks is offered in Ikea's catalogue, in the accessories for the bath, but I prefer reused it for some of my jewels. I do not have it too much tidy, but yes easy and commode to choose one complements quickly.

Mantelitos individuales decorados usando moldes de galletas de Ikea- Individual Tablecloths decorated using Pastry cutters from Ikea

Para mi sobrino, he realizado cuatro Manteles Individuales de animales. He usado los Manteles de Ikea, fieltro rojo, los cortapastas de Ikea "Drömmar" de la Diseñadora Monika Mulder, lazos rojos, cuchara, tenedor y cuchillo de plástico, tijeras y pegamento. El proceso es sencillo, dibujas las formas de animales con el cortapastas en el fieltro, lo recortas y lo pegas al mantelito. Puedes añadir cubiertos de plástico con un lazo. Aquí está el resultado.

For my nephew, I have made four Individual Tablecloths of animals. I have used Ikea's Tablecloths, red felt, Ikea's pastry cutters "Drömmar" by Designer Monika Mulder, red ribbon, spoon, fork and knife of plastic, a pair of scissors and a bit of glue. The process is simple, you draw the forms of animals with the pastry cutter in the felt, cut it away and you it stick to the tablecloth. You can add cutlery of plastic with a ribbon. Here is the result.

  

Corona de Navidad usando cinta de lazo de Ikea - Christmas Crown using ribbon from Ikea

La Navidad se acerca y soy muy feliz en esa época del año. ¡Me encantan las luces y la magia de este tiempo! En las próximas páginas os voy a enseñar algunas cositas que estoy haciendo para Navidad.
Mi primera manualidad es una corona para poner en la puerta. Esta idea me vino viendo algunas coronas que realiza la famosa Martha Stewart, como sabéis, ella es una gran Maestra en Manualidades y otras disciplinas, su página web es: http://www.marthastewart.com/
Para crear mi corona de Navidad, he hecho dos círculos concéntricos con cartón. Encima, he puesto varias mitades de cilindros de cartón (esos dónde se enrolla el papel higiénico) como armazón y los he grapado uno a uno al cartón siguiendo la forma circular de la corona. A continuación he enrollado una cinta de lazo "Kotte" del Ikea. Esta cinta de lazo, tiene un pequeño alambre en los extremos, así se enrolla más fácil. Luego he cosido el final de la cinta con otro trozo para hacer una terminación y he pegado un pequeño lazo de cinta roja como detalle final. Este es el resultado.

The Christmas approaches and I am very happy in this time of the year. I am charmed with the lights and the magic of this time! In the next pages I am going to show you some little things that I am making for Christmas season.
My first craft is a Christmas crown to put in the door. This idea came me from seeing some crowns that the famous Martha Stewart realizes, as you know, she is a great Teacher in Crafts and other disciplines, her web site is: http: // www.marthastewart.com/
To create my Christmas's crown, I have made two concentric circles with cardboard. Above it, I have put several halves of cylinders of cardboard (I used several cylinders from hygienic paper) as frame and joined them to crown using staples following the circular form of the crown. Later, I have coiled a ribbon "Kotte" bought in Ikea. It has a small wire in the ends, doing easier to coil it. Then I have sewed the end of the ribbon with another piece of it to finish it. My last detail was to glue a small bow of red ribbon. This one is the result.

Aquí en España, estamos en Otoño y ya hace frío. Siguiendo una idea de mi hermana Nair, he decorado una mesa reutilizando un Pareo. Este artículo, muy usado en Verano, puede también convertirse en un bonito mantel en Otoño o en Invierno. Os muestro la foto del Pareo y su nuevo uso como mantel.

Here in Spain, we are in Autumn and we have cold weather. Following an idea of my sister Nair, I have decorated a table, reusing a Beach wrap.
