Flores silvestres y blonda - Wild flowers and doily

Mi marido me ha recogido algunas flores silvestres del campo para decorar nuestra mesa. Las he puesto en un vaso con agua y he cubierto el recipiente con una blonda (es una blonda que se utiliza como base para tartas). La blonda la he sujetado con una goma elástica. Me gusta la combinación de las flores silvestres y la blonda.

My husband has picked up me some wild flowers from country to decorate our table. I have put them in a glass with water and have covered the container with a doily  (it is a doily which one is used as base for cakes). I have fastened the doily with an elastic band. I like the combination of the wild flowers and the doily.

Postal de Cumpleaños con Palitos de helado - Birthday Card with Popsicle sticks

He hecho una postal de Cumpleaños para mi sobrino reutilizando unos palitos de helado y cinta washi tape. He escogido dos colores, color azul para las velas y color amarillo para la llama. He pegado la cinta a lo largo de cada palito y luego he dibujado las llamas, poniendo un trozo de cinta encima de cada pedazo, así se va calcando. Deseo que le guste. Aquí está el proceso y el resultado.

I have made a Birthday card for my nephew reusing three popsicle sticks and a bit of washi tape. I have chosen two colors, blue color for the candles and yellow color for the flames. I have stuck the washi tape along of every stick and then I have drawn the flames, putting a tape chunk on every piece, of this way, you can use the same drawing. I wish it likes him. Here is the process and the result.

Una Merienda muy Belga - A very Belgian Snack

Bélgica es un país con encanto, con bonitos monumentos y situado en el corazón de Europa. Es muy conocido por sus comics como: Tintín y los Pitufos. También, tiene productos deliciosos como su famoso chocolate y algunos dulces. Personalmente, me gustan los Gofres de Lieja y los Pitufos que son muy divertidos. He unido ambos elementos para crear una Merienda muy Belga. Espero os guste.

Belgium is a charming country, with nice monuments and placed in the heart of Europa. It is very popular for some comics like: Tintin and the Smurfs. Also, it has delicious products as its famous chocolate and some sweets. Personally, I like the Waffles from Liège and the Smurfs who are very funny. I have joined both elements to create a very Belgian Snack. I hope you like it.

Reutilizando una percha con pinzas - Reusing a hanger with clips

Seguro que os ha ocurrido la siguiente situación, estáis en vuestra cocina, preparando una receta nueva o no recordáis con exactitud la preparación de una receta que habéis preparado con anterioridad. Entonces, la mejor solución es leer vuestro Recetario de Cocina y ahí viene tu problema, ¿dónde lo pongo? Si tenéis una cocina maravillosa, quizás disponéis de un atril, pero si es más sencilla como la mía y no tienes este artículo,  resulta que no es fácil sujetar vuestro recetario. He solucionado esta pequeña incomodidad utilizando una percha con pinzas. Así, puedo consultar mi Recetario, sin temor a que se manche o no pueda ver bien la receta.

I am sure that the following situation has happened to you, you are in your kitchen, preparing a new recipe or do not remember with accuracy the preparation of a recipe that you have prepared previously. Then, the best solution is to read your Recipe Book and there your problem comes, where do I put it? If you have a wonderful kitchen, probably you have a book rest, but if it is simpler like the mine and you do not have this article, it turns out that it is not easy to hold your Recipe Book. I have solved this small inconvenience using a hanger with clips. Of this way, I can consult my Recipe Book, without fear of that gets dirty or could not see well the recipe.

Tenía una cena y quería algo divertido para decorar una mesa baja (mesa auxiliar). Entonces he inflado globos de distintos colores y este es el resultado de mi decoración, ¿os gusta?

Aros de madera - Wooden rings

Hace unos días, comimos una deliciosa tarta de melocotón del supermercado y venía dentro de una caja de plástico, sujeta por dos aros de madera y luego dentro de un papel de hornear. Me gustaron los dos aros de madera, los lavé y los guarde en nuestra cocina. Ahora, los he reutilizado para "secar" mi sombrero después de llegar a casa empapada por la lluvia. Tienen un tamaño perfecto para que no se deforme mi sombrero y pueda secarse perfectamente. Su diámetro es de: 15 cm. Quizás, los voy a utilizar también para guardar en perfectas condiciones mi sombrero en el armario.

Few days ago, we ate a delicious Peach cake from supermarket. It was inside of a plastic box, fastened for two wooden rings and inside of a baking paper. I liked it both rings, then, I washed them and kept them in our kitchen. Now, I have reused them "to "dry" my hat after coming home wet for the rain. They have a perfect size in order that my hat is not deformed and could dry off perfectly. Its diameter is: 15 cm. Probably, I am going to use them also to guard in perfect conditions my hat in the wardrobe.
