¿Qué os parece este traje hecho reciclando las bases de latas de refresco? A mí, me parece muy original, por los materiales y la pintura negra y dorada. Lo he visto en la Exposición: "Recrea" en junio 2019, en Granada, España. Su título es: "Oro negro" y su Autora es: María José Serrano Mena.

Visité en Junio de 2019, en la ciudad de Granada, España, la Exposición: "Recrea" de Reciclaje. Encontré trabajos muy creativos como este llamado: "Arma d'anilla" del autor: Jorge Juan Hernández López. Os lo muestro porque me recordó a los trajes de las películas ambientadas en la Edad Media. Es una capa hecha con anillas de latas de refrescos y lana. ¿Qué os parece?

I visited in June 2019, in the city of Granada, Spain, the Exhibition: "Recrea" about Recycling. I found very creative works like this one called "Arma d'anilla" by the author: Jorge Juan Hernández López. I show it to you because it reminded me of the costumes from the movies set in the Middle Ages. It is a cape made with rings of soft drinks cans and wool. What do you think?

At the Recycling Exhibition Recrea, which one I visited in June of this year 2019 in Granada, Spain, I have seen how they have created this sculpture of a turtle by reusing bottle plates and rings of soft drinks. The title is: "Vida entre plástico" (Life among plastic) and its author is: Inés Román Marinetto.

Día de la Madre haciendo flores de latas y envases de yogures - Mother's day making some flowers with aluminium tins and packings of yoghurts

Hoy, primer domingo del mes de mayo se celebra en España, el día de la Madre. Quisiera mostraros hoy cómo han reciclado latas de refrescos de aluminio y envases de yogures y gelatinas para convertirlos en flores. Han cortado estos envases en tiras y los han anudado y doblado para crear estas singulares flores. Estos trabajos fueron mostrados en el mes de junio de 2018 en la Exposición: “Re-Crea. Exposición de Creación y Reciclaje”, en Casa de Zafra, Granada. España. Allí he visto muchos trabajos que me han gustado, muchos los he mostrado ya en este Blog. Y otros los haré en el futuro.

Today, first sunday of month of may is celebrated in Span, Mother's day. I would like to show you how have recycled some tins of soft drinks of aluminium and packings of yoghurts and gelatine to turn them into flowers. They have cut these packings in strips and have knotted and doubled them to create these singular flowers. These works were shown last month of June, 2018 when was celebrated the second year of the Exhibition: " Re-Crea. Exhibition of Creation and Recycling ", in Casa de Zafra, Granada. Spain. There I have seen a lot of works that I have liked,  many of them have been already showed in this Blog. And I will do others in the future.

En la Exposición, que visité hace unos meses llamada: “Re-Crea. Exposición de Creación y Reciclaje” en el monumento Casa de Zafra, en Granada, España, he visto cómo un par de autores han reutilizado latas de aluminio de refrescos y latas de alimentos para crear unas figuras. La primera figura, tiene el título de: “El renacer de la Primavera“ y su autor es José Villergas Castaño. La segunda figura, tiene el título de: “Gato enlatado”y su autora es Rosa Navarro Balderas.
Ambas me parecen muy ingeniosas.

At the Exhibition, that I visited few months ago called: “Re-crea. Exhibition of Creation and Recycling” at the Casa de Zafra's monument, in Granada, Spain, I have seen how a couple of authors have reused the aluminium cans of soft drinks and food cans to create some figures. The first figure, has the title: “The rebirth of Spring“ and his author is José Villergas Castaño. The second figure, has the title of: “Canned Cat”and her authoress is Rosa Navarro Balderas. 
I find them both very ingenious.

Few days ago, I was visiting in Granada, the Exhibition: " Re-Crea. Exhibition of Creation and Recycling " in the monument, Casa de Zafra. It is the second year that this Exhibition is celebrated. There were many interesting objects. Today, I would like to show you this so singular sculpture re-using tins of fish. Its title: " Los peces lata " and Authors: Grupo Escamas.

Reciclar anillas de latas de refresco para crear un cinturón - Recycling some tin can tops of soda to create a belt

Hace unos días, estuve en un Mercado de Artesanía, allí, he comprado este cinturón realizado con anillas de latas de refrescos y unos lazos blancos. Desafortunadamente, no llevaba mi cámara de fotos y no pude realizar fotos de la artesana que lo había hecho, pero al menos puedo mostrar su trabajo en mi Blog. Ella ha ido entrelazando las anillas por dos agujeros de cada una, creando un cinturón muy original. Espero os guste.

Few days ago, I was in a Craft Market, there,  I have bought this belt made with tin can tops of soda and white ribbon. Unfortunately, I did not have my photo camera and I could not take photos of the craftswoman who had made it, but at least I can show her work in my Blog. She has been intertwining the rings by two holes  of each them, creating a very original belt. I hope you like it.

En la tienda del Museo Nobel de la Paz, en la ciudad de Oslo, (Noruega), he visto cómo han reciclado el aluminio de las latas de bebidas para crear esta jirafa tan especial. Han cortado el aluminio de las latas y lo han ido enrollando en un armazón para crear esta jirafa. Me parece genial y díficil de realizar.

In the shop of Nobel Peace Center, in the city of Oslo (Norway), I have seen how have recycled the aluminium from drink cans to create this so special giraffe. They have cut the aluminium of the drink cans and have rolled up in a structure to create this giraffe. I think, that is great and complicated to make it.

Hace unas semanas, cuándo estuvimos visitando los Países Bajos y a la familia de mi marido, vimos unas obras de una Artista que se inspira en los años que ella vivió en su juventud en la isla de Curaçao. He hecho estas fotos para mostrar dos vasijas dónde ha reutilizado unas anillas de latas para decorar su escultura.

Few weeks ago, when we were visiting the Netherlands and the family of my husband, we saw some pieces of an Artist who make her works inspiring in the years that she was living during her youth in the island of Curaçao. Es muy común, tener algunas latas de refrescos en casa. Estas anillas que se usan para abrir la lata se pueden convertir en pulseras y también se pueden reutilizar como he hecho hoy, para ampliar la capacidad de una percha. Es muy sencillo, se quita la anilla, se engancha a la percha y luego se añade otra percha más. Lo he hecho con el abrigo de mi hija y el mío, así, aprovecho más el espacio en mi perchero, también lo podéis hacer en vuestro armario.

It is very common, to have some drinks at home. These rings that are used to open a can or tin can turn into bracelets and also they can reused like I have done today, to extend the capacity of a hanger. It is very simple, you take the ring and put it in the hanger and thenyou add another hanger more. I have done it with the coat of my daughter and my coat, of this way I take advantage more of the space in my coat rack, also you it can do in your cupboard.
