Redecorando un asa - Redecorating a handle

Las dos asas de uno de mis bolsos, estaban estropeadas. Quería seguir usandolo porque era un regalo de mi madre. Así que, he comprado una cinta azul con mariposas, y otra cinta de tejido adhesivo por ambos lados. He pegado esta última parte por parte, rodeando el asa y después he enrollado la cinta. Para finalizar he cosido un poco la cinta para que quede bien adherida. En las siguientes fotos, os muestro los materiales, el proceso y el acabado final.

The two handles of one of my purses, they were damaged. I wanted to continue using it because it was a gift of my mother. So, I have bought a blue ribbon with design of butterflies, and another double sided adhesive fabric tape. I have stuck the latter part on part, surrounding the handle and later I have coiled the ribbon. To finish I have sewed a bit the tape in order that it remains well adhered. In the following photos, I show you the materials, the process and the end result.

Bienvenido Otoño - Welcome Autumn

Para dar la Bienvenida a esta nueva estación, el Otoño, mi marido me ha regalado una preciosa planta de Aster de Otoño. Aquí os muestro una parte dentro de un bote de comida de bebé, que he reciclado de comida de mi hija, lo he limpiado y decorado con un poco de baker twine.

 Aquí, os muestro estas bonitas verduras ecológicas, que nos han regalado mi cuñada Lidwine y mi cuñado Eelco, con algo de celofán y una cuerda quedan preciosas, ¿verdad?

Here, I show you these nice bio vegetables, given as a present from my sister-in-law Lidwine and my brother-in-law Eelco, with a piece of cellophane and a piece of string are beautiful, isn't it?

He creado una postal para un Cumpleaños "escribiendo" el número 38 con cinta de washi tape. He usado cartulina negra y cinta washi de rayas en tonos amarillos. Ahora deseo que le guste al destinatario.

I have created a Birthday card "writing" the number 38 with washi tape. I have used a piece of black cardboard and a bit of washi tape of stripes in yellow tones. Now I wish it likes to the addressee.

Perchas para invitados - Hangers for guests

He reutilizado cuatro perchas que nos regalaron en una Tienda de Ropa, Mc Gregor . Solamente he pegado unos adhesivos y he escrito la palabra "Bienvenidos" en diferentes idiomas: Francés, Holandés, Inglés y Español. Ahora que empezamos a recibir visitas en nuestro nuevo hogar, creo es un detalle agradable tener perchas para invitados-

I have reused four hangers that gave us in a Shop, Mc Gregor. I have only stuck few stickers and have written the word "Welcome" in different languages: French, Dutch, English and Spanish. Now that we start receiving visits in our new home, I believe it is an agreeable detail to have hangers for guests.

Hemos ido a una Tienda de Antiguedades y hemos comprado un revistero que vamos a utilizar como zapatero. De esta forma va a ser más útil en nuestro hogar para organizar los zapatos que estamos usando en estos días, como revistero pensaremos en otra idea más adelante.

We have gone to an Antique shop and have bought a magazine rack that we are going to use as shoe rack. Of this way it is going to be more useful in our home to organize the shoes that we are using in these days, as magazine rack we will think about another idea in the future.

Seguro que, os estáis preguntando cuál es el motivo de mostrar, un pan de pasas, un bote de nata en spray y unas cerezas confitadas,...voilá!!
