Pronto empezarán las buenas temperaturas y el calor. Estoy segura que entonces, será agradable dar un paseo por el campo protegido por una buena gorra. Mi marido tiene varias gorras, muchas son regalos de Fiestas, Ferias, Amigos...Para organizarlas he reutilizado una percha de madera, aquí os las muestro.

My husband has several baseball caps, many of them are gifts from Parties, Fairs, Friends... To organize them I have re-used a wooden hanger, here I show them to you.

Reciclando funda de teléfono móvil - Recycling cover for mobile phone

Tenía una funda para mi teléfono móvil, ya algo vieja. He pensado en reciclarla para guardar mis lápices de colores. Solo he necesitado una goma elástica para cumplir esta función. Aquí está su nuevo uso.

I had a cover for my mobile phone, quite old. I have thought of recycling it to keep my colors pencils. Only I have needed an elastic band to fulfill this function. Here is its new use.

Reutilizando Tapones de Corcho de Botellas de Vino - Reusing Stoppers of Cork from Bottles of Wine

El corcho es un material útil. El tapón de corcho de una botella de vino, se puede reutilizar para ordenar a los comensales alrededor de una mesa en una celebración. Solo hay que hacer un pequeño corte desde arriba hacia dentro en el corcho y fijar con una goma elástica para poner la tarjeta del comensal.
Os muestro cómo queda.

Cork is an useful material. The stopper of cork from a bottle of wine, it can be reused to order people around of a table for a celebration. It is only necessary to make a small cut from the top till inside in the cork and to fix with an elastic to put the card with the name of guest.

Margarita en Fieltro - Daisy in Felt

Para mi amiga Isabel, he hecho un broche de fieltro con forma de margarita. He usado fieltro blanco, fieltro verde, cuentas de cristal de color amarillo, pegamento de contacto y un cierre. Tienes que cortar dos trozos de fieltro y los unes cosiéndolos con algunas cuentas de cristal amarillo y  fieltro verde como hojas. Detrás de él, coses un cierre y pones un libro grueso encima del broche para ue pegue bien. Aquí muestro el proceso de creación del broche y su parte trasera y delantera.

For my friend Isabel, I have realized a brooch of felt with form of a daisy. I have used white felt, green felt, yellow glass beads, contact glue and a closing. You have only to cut two chunks of felt and join them sewing some yellow glass beads and green felt as leaves. Behind of it, you sew a closing and put a thick book on it in order that it sticks well. I show here the making off and the brooch, back and front part of it.

Un marcapáginas con sellos usados - A bookmark with used postage stamps

Para mi amiga Barby de Italia, he realizado un marcapáginas ya que es una gran lectora. He usado una cartulina blanca de 15 cm de largo por 2,5 cm de ancho. Después he pegado algunos sellos Italianos y los he forrado con plástico adhesivo para protegerlos. Este es el resultado.

For my friend Barby from Italy, I have made a bookmark, because she is a great reader. I have used a white cardboard of 15 cm of length for 2,5 cm of width. Later I have glued some Italian stamps and I have covered them with adhesive plastic to protect them. This one is the result.

Reciclando un posavasos de un Bar - Recycling a coaster from a Pub

Alguna vez, me gusta coger el posavasos que me pone el Camarero al tomar la bebida en el Bar, ¡no siempre! Suelen ser diferentes y es como un pequeño recuerdo un viaje. Tenía uno de diámetro 10,5 cm, que he reciclado como base del jarrón "Vasen" de Ikea. Es una buena idea para que no se estropee la mesa de madera dónde coloco mi florero. Por cierto, esta creo es la única rosa que vamos a tener esta Primavera, tenemos un rosal, pero es muy vago, apenas nos da una o dos flores cada año, así que mejor disfrutarla estos días.

Sometimes, I like to take the coaster that the Waiter puts me having a drink in a Pub, not always! They are usual different and it is like a small souvenir from a trip. I had one of diameter 10,5 cm, that I have recycled as base of the vase "Vasen" from Ikea. It is a good idea in order that the wood table does not get damaged where I place my vase. Certainly, I believe this one it is the only rose that we are going to have this Spring, we have a rose-bush, but it is very lazy, it gives us one or two flowers every year, so better to enjoy it these days.

Día de la Madre - Mother's Day

Hoy primer Domingo de Mayo, se celebra el día de la Madre en España. He preparado un regalo sorpresa para mi madre. Lo he envuelto usando papel kraft y lo he decorado con un pequeño abanico de papel en tonos azules, porque es un objeto que utiliza mucho en los calurosos veranos de mi país. Un pequeño regalo y reconocimiento para mi madre, que siempre está a mi lado.

Today on first Sunday of Mayo, it celebrates Mother's Day in Spain. I have prepared a small gift surprise for my mother. I have wrapped it using kraft paper and I have decorated it with a small fan of paper in blue tones, because, it is an article that my mother uses often in the warm Summers of my country. A small gift and recognition for my mother, who always is to my side.

El próximo día 05 de Mayo es el Día de la Madre en España. Se celebra siempre el primer Domingo del mes de Mayo. He unido algunas piruletas con un lazo para hacerle un pequeño bouquet dulce adornado con una blonda blanca y unas rosas rojas de papel.

Next 05th of May is the Mother's Day in Spain. It celebrates always on the first Sunday of month of May. I have joined some lollipops with a small ribbon to make her a small sweet bouquet decorated with a white doily and few red paper roses.

Primero de Mayo - First of May

Hoy es Primero Mayo, es también el Día del Trabajo celebrado en la mayor parte de países del mundo.
En Francia, hay una bonita tradición para este día. Consiste en regalar un ramillete o postal de Lirio del Valle (Muguet en Lengua Francesa) para desear buena suerte a quién lo recibe para los próximos meses.
Mi amiga Cécile me envío esta postal con el texto: "Porte bonheur" (te traerá buena suerte).

Today is First of May, it is also the Day of the Work celebrated in most of countries all around the world. 
In France, there is a nice tradition for this day. It consists of giving a bouquet or postcard of Lily of the Valley (Muguet in French language) to wish good luck to whom it receives for the next months.
My friend Cécile sent me this postcard with the text: " Porte bonheur " (it will bring good luck to you).
