Reciclando Posos de Café - Recycling Coffee Grounds

En casa tenemos tres cafeteras, de filtro, eléctrica y tipo Italiana. Mi marido usa más esta última. Los posos que sobran después de preparar su café los guardo y los uso como abono para mis plantas. Aquí en la foto, lo vierto en mis margaritas, así estarán brillantes y fuertes.

At home, we have three coffee machines, one of filter, one of electricity and the last one is of Italian type. My husband uses more the last one. The coffee grounds that exceed after preparing his cup of coffee are kept by myself and I use them as compost for my plants. Here in the photo, I put it on my daisies, of this way they will be brilliant and strong.

Etiqueta para remitente - Label for sender

He hecho una etiqueta para escribir la dirección del remitente en algunos sobres. Primero, he hecho una plantilla con la forma de una etiqueta usando cartón de 7 cm de largo por 3 cm de ancho. Después he perforado un agujero, he dibujado sus bordes y he pintado un cordón. Solo me falta escribir mi dirección para finalizar esta manualidad.

I have made a label to write sender's address in some envelopes. First, I have made a template with the form of a label using carton of 7 cm of length for 3 cm of width. Later I have perforated a hole, have drawn all around it and have painted a cord. It is only necessary to me to write my direction to finish this craft.

Inspiración Exótica - Exotic Inspiration

He hecho una decoración de una mesa con inspiración exótica. Para conseguirlo, he utilizado una sombrilla que me regaló mi hermana de un viaje a Tailandia, una bandeja de rattan y un vasito con algunas flores de  jazmín. Me apetecía algo diferente ahora en Primavera.

I have made a centerpiece with exotic inspiration. To obtain it, I have put a parasol which one was a present of my sister from a trip to Thailand, a rattan's tray and a small glass with some jasmines' flowers. I wanted something slightly different now in Spring.

 Tengo unos papeles de 200 gramos en diferentes diseños, regalo de mi suegra. He escogido uno de ellos, concretamente con diseño de lunares para crear unas postales de Cumpleaños. Solo he doblado el papel de tamaño A5 sobre sí mismo. Después, he adherido una pegatina que he cortado con tijeras especiales dónde he escrito el texto de: Happy Birthday (Feliz Cumpleaños en Inglés).

 I have some papers of 200 grams in different designs, all of them were a gift of my mother-in-law. I have chosen one of them, concretely one with a design of polka dot to create some Birthday cards. I have only doubled the paper of size A5 on itself. Later, I have glued a sticker that I have cut using a pair of a scallop scissors and where I have written: Happy Birthday.

Reutilizando lata de té - Reusing a tin of tea

He reutilizado una lata de té, regalo de nuestros amigos Patty y Carlos de Isla Mauricio para guardar pinzas pequeñas que sujetan nuestras postales. Pensé en forrar la lata con cinta, pero me gusta así.

I have reused a tin of tea, it was a gift from our friends Patty and Carlos from Mauritius Island to keep small clothespins that hold our postcards. I thought to cover the tin with tape, but I like it of this way.

He hecho una Tarta de Limón y la he decorado con caramelos de violetas que me ha regalado mi hermana de la famosa pastelería "La Mallorquina" de Madrid. Me gusta la combinación de colores del amarillo del limón y el violeta del caramelo.

I have baked a Lemon Cake and have decorated her with violets sweets that my sister has given me from the famous pastry shop " La Mallorquina " in Madrid. I like the combination of colors of the yellow one of the lemon and the violet of the sweet.
