Día de Andalucía - Day of Andalusia

Hoy 28 de Febrero, es el día de mi región de origen, Andalucía, en el Sur de España. Especialmente hoy, me acuerdo de familia, de mi región, de mi ciudad,...En fin, siento un poquito de nostalgia y por eso he hecho mi personal corazón con productos de mi tierra, tomates cherries, y banderillas de Andalucía.

Today 28th of February, it is the day of my origin region, Andalusia, in the South of Spain. Specially today, I remember of my family, of my region, of my city,...Well, I feel a bit of nostalgy and for this reason I have done my personal heart with products of my land, cherries tomatoes and skewered appetizers from Andalusia. Cesta de Jabones - Soaps Basket

Mi cuñada L., nos había invitado a una fiesta por su Cumpleaños. Además de darle un regalo, queríamos darle un detalle como Anfitriona de su celebración. Ella tiene un precioso huerto con verduras y flores, así que no me apetecía comprarle un ramo de flores. He hecho entonces, una cesta de jabones para ella. He comprado una cesta, una bolsa de potpourrí de mimosa y unos jabones naturales. He puesto un poco de paja decorativa en el fondo de la cesta, he colocado todos los artículos y he envuelto la cesta con celofán y la he cerrado con cintas en tonos beiges. Este es el proceso y el resultado.

My sister-in-law L., had invited us to a party for her Birthday. Besides to give her a gift, we wanted to give her a detail as Hostess of her celebration. She has a beautiful garden with vegetables and flowers, so I did not like to buy her a bouquet of flowers. I have done then, a soaps basket for her . I have bought a basket, a potpourri bag of mimosa and some natural soaps. I have put a bit of decorative straw at the bottom of the basket, I have placed all the articles and is I wrapped the basket with cellophane and has closed it with some ribbons in beige tones. This one is the process and the result.

He reusado un jarrón como frutero para nuestras naranjas, en casa, nos gusta mucho beber zumo de naranjas natural. De esta forma, mis naranjas hacen de decoración en la mesa y es fácil usarlas cuándo lo desee.

I have reused a vase as fruit bowl for our oranges, at home, we like very much to drink natural juice of oranges. Of this way, my oranges do a bit of decoration in the table and it is easy to use them when I wish it.

Dulce Copo de Nieve - Sweet Snow Flake

En estos días de frío, he reutilizado algunas nubes o marshmallows para crear un dulce copo de nieve que puede acompañar una taza de café, té o chocolate. Solo he usado unos pinchitos para unirlos y listo.

Adorno para una vela para San Valentín - Decoration for a candle for St. Valentine

Voy a hacer un pequeño adorno para una vela para San Valentín. Solo necesito unos 50 cms de hilo de yute, un trozo de papel, un bote de vidrio para reciclar y una velita. Primero, lavo bien el bote de vidrio, después recorto un corazón en el papel y hago un agujero con la ayuda de un sacacorchos. Para finalizar pongo el corazón en el hilo de yute y lo ato al bote de vidrio, coloco la vela en el interior y ya está listo.

I am going to do a small adornment for a candle for Saint Valentine. I only need approximately 50 cms from thread of jute, a chunk of paper, a glass container to recycle and a tea light. First, I wash well the glass container, later, I cut a heart in the paper and I do a hole with the help of a corkscrew. To finish I put the heart in the thread of jute and I tie it to the glass container, place the candle (tea light in this case), in the interior and already it is ready.

Es muy común, tener algunas latas de refrescos en casa. Estas anillas que se usan para abrir la lata se pueden convertir en pulseras y también se pueden reutilizar como he hecho hoy, para ampliar la capacidad de una percha. Es muy sencillo, se quita la anilla, se engancha a la percha y luego se añade otra percha más. Lo he hecho con el abrigo de mi hija y el mío, así, aprovecho más el espacio en mi perchero, también lo podéis hacer en vuestro armario.
