Renovando una caja usando esmalte de uñas - Renewing a box using nail polish

Tengo una caja dónde guardo objetos pequeños, se había estropeado por usarla mucho. Para "renovarla" un poco y que parezca más nueva la he pintado con esmalte de uñas rosa chicle. Ahora, tiene un color más brillante.

Esta manualidad que muestro hoy, no la he hecho yo, la he visto en una terraza en Bélgica hace unos días. Es sencilla de realizar, solo hace falta varios cilindros de cartón que van dentro de los rollos de papel higiénico . Después, se cortan en trozos de 1 cm aproximadamente, se doblan y pegan por el extremo haciendo un círculo como una flor. Aquí en este ejemplo, además se han pintado de blanco y se pegan uno encima del otro. Por último puede soporte para colocar una vela encima.

Un plátano como barco para merendar - A banana like a ship to have a snack

Una idea para hacer una merienda divertida es hacer un plátano como barco velero. Solo hay que usar el platano como casco del barco, un pinchito como mástil y una servilleta como vela. Después, se puede decorar con animales marinos (como estos que usa mi hija para el baño, regalo de mi amiga S.,) u otros detalles, para que sea más divertido.

An idea to have a funny snack is using a banana like a ship. It is only necessary to use a banana  as hull of the ship, a cocktail stick as mast and a napkin as sail. Later, it is possible to decorate it with marine animals (as these that my daughter uses for the bath, gift of my friend S.,) or other details, in order that it is more enterteining.

Tenía un pequeño cuaderno de cuándo era yo pequeña (podéis apreciar que la ilustración de la portada, es algo "vintage), sin usar en casa. Ahora va a ser usado como: "Albúm de ilustraciones" para mi hija. Primero, elijo algunos folletos de publicidad con el tema de:" la vuelta al cole". Ella elige las ilustraciones que más le gustan, después, yo las recorto y como último paso, ella me ayuda a pegarlas en el cuaderno usando pegamento de barra. Como podéis comprobar, los personajes de la película de Disney "Frozen" triunfan en estas primeras páginas y también el famoso payaso Belga "Bumba". Es un albúm, útil para reciclar ilustraciones de folletos. Además, mi hija participa en la elaboración del mismo, lo cuál es positivo para ella.

I had a small notebook of when I was a child (you can see that the illustration of the front page, it is something " vintage"), without using at home. Now it is going to be used like: " Album of illustrations " for my daughter. First, I choose some leaflets of topic: "back to school". She chooses the illustrations that more she likes, later, I cut them away and as last step, she helps me to stick them in the notebook using glue. Since you can estimate, that the characters of Disney's movie "Frozen" triumph in these first pages and also the famous Belgium clown "Bumba". It is an album, useful to recycle illustrations of leaflets. In addition, my daughter takes part in the elaboration of the same one, which one is positive for her.

Quería redecorar un par de marcos que me había regalado mi abuela materna hace unos años. Para ello, los he cubierto usando cinta washi tape y he puesto después, dos fotos familiares tomadas en la pasada Primavera. Es un proceso sencillo, solo pegar la cinta y poner atención al interior del marco y esquinas para que quede todo bien unificado. Espero os gusten.

I wanted to redecorating a couple of frames that my grandmother had given me a few years ago. For it, I have  covered them using washi tape washi and I have put later, two familiar photos taken in the last Spring. It is a simple process, just to stick the tape and to put attention to the interior of the frame and corners in order that all is well unified. I hope you like them.

Hace unos días, fue el Cumpleaños de mi marido. Le había comprado un regalo y quise también, tener un detalle especial. Entonces, en una caja, puse ocho hojas pequeñas dónde había escrito citas de personajes famosos. Después, doblé cada una de ellas de manera diferente. Como último paso, cerré la caja, para que él descubrira su contenido. Una de las citas, pertenecía al famoso Arquitecto Español, Antoni Gaudí (creador del Parque Güell, y otras grandes obras). La cita decía: "No hay razón para no probar algo nuevo sólo porque nadie lo haya intentado antes."

Few days ago, it was the Birthday of my husband. I had bought a gift for him, and I wanted also to have a special detail. Then, in a box, I put eight small papers where I had written some quotes from celebrities. Later, I folded each of them in a different way. As last step, I closed the box, in order that he could discover its content. One of the quotes, it belonged to the famous Spanish Architect, Antoni Gaudí (creator of the Park Güell, and other big works). The quote said: " there is no reason not to try anything new only because anybody has tried it before. "
