Vasos y nubes - Glasses and marshmallows

En estos últimos días de junio, acaba la Escuela y comienzan las vacaciones de verano. Nosotros dimos un regalo a la maestra de nuestra hija, pero también queríamos dar algo a los niños. Entonces hemos hecho unos detalles con los siguientes materiales: vasos de cartón de los dibujos animados de: "Woezel en Pip", servilletas de papel amarillas, celofán, fixo, cintas de colores, cartulina roja y nubes de caramelo.
En cada vaso ponemos una servilleta de papel, y rellenamos con unas 6 o 7 nubes. Después lo envolvemos con papel de celofán y cerramos con un fixo. Hacemos una etiqueta con la cartulina roja y un perforador. Escribimos en un lado de esta etiqueta el nombre de nuestra hija  y en el otro el contenido "nubes" y la tienda dónde lo hemos comprado "Hema", en este caso. Cerramos todo con cinta de colores y ¡listo!

In these last days of June, the School ends and begin the summer vacations. We gave a gift to the teacher of our daughter, but also we wanted to give something to the children. Then we have made few details with the following materials: carton glasses printed with the drawings of cartoons: " Woezel en Pip ", yellow paper napkins, cellophane, scotch, ribbons of brilliant colors, red cardboard and marshmallows.
In every glass we put a napkin, and refill with approximately 6 or 7 marshmallows. Later we wrap it with a bit of cellophane and close with scotch. We make a label using the red cardboard and a perforator. We write in a side of this label the name of our daughter and in other one the content "marshmallows" and the shop where we it have bought "Hema", in this case. We close everything with ribbon and ready!

Reutilizando toallas para crear un muñeco - Reusing some towels to create a doll

Hace unos días he visto, en una tienda, cómo habían reutilizado cuatro toallas (3 de tamaño para usar en el lavabo y otra más pequeña) y una manopla de baño, junto a unos lazos para crear un muñeco. Es sencillo de realizar, primero coges dos toallas tamaño lavabo, las enrollas y las atas con lazos en los extremos. Después las colocas una junta a la otra, porque van a ser las piernas y brazos de nuestro muñeco. Y entonces, pones otra toalla de lavabo encima, creando un vestido y atas con otro lazo, en el lugar de la cintura. Por último, enrollas como si fuera una bola otra toalla a modo de cabeza y colocas una manopla encima como un sombrero. Si quieres puedes coser unas lentejuelas para que sean la boca, la nariz y los ojos como en este muñeco de la foto. Quizás "copio" esta idea, pero pondría adhesivos para hacer la nariz, ojos y boca porque así se podrían quitar inmediatamente.

Few days ago I have seen, in a shop, how there had re-used four towels (3 of size to use in the wash basin and smaller other one) and a gauntlet of bath, with some pieces of ribbon too to create a doll. It is simple to make, first you take two towels size wash basin, coil them and tie them with ribbons in the ends. Later you them place next to each other, because they are going to be the legs and arms of our doll. And then, you put another towel of wash basin on them, creating a dress and you tie with another ribbon in the place of the waist. Finally, you coil as if it was a ball another towel like head and place a gauntlet on it as a hat. If you want you can sew a few lentils in order that they are the mouth, the nose and the eyes like in this doll of the photo. Probably, I  "copy" this idea, but I would use some stickers to create, the nose, the eyes and the month, because it is easy to remove them.

Hace unos días compré una cesta de plástico con fresas. Cuándo iba a preparar un postre con las fresas, pensé en hacer algo para reciclar este envase, que fuera divertido. Entonces lo lavé, lo sequé y forré el asa con cinta washi tape. Después lo he llenado con algunas de las verduras de plástico con las que juega mi hija. ¿Os gusta? ¿Habéis reciclado una cesta o caja de fresas alguna vez?

Few days ago I bought a strawberries plastic basket. When I was going to prepare a dessert with the strawberries, I thought of doing something to recycle that container, which one was funny. Then I washed it, I dried it and covered the handle with a bit of washi tape. Later I have filled it with some of the plastic vegetables with which ones my daughter plays. Do you like it? Reutilizando una libreta y bolígrafo para el Día del Padre - Reusing a notebook and a pen for Father's Day

El día del Padre se celebra en España el 19 de marzo, y en Bélgica el segundo domingo de junio. Mi hija ha hecho un regalo en el Colegio para su papá. Y yo quería que él tuviera también un detalle hecho en casa, el próximo domingo. He reutilizado una libreta y un bolígrafo que teníamos en casa aún sin usar, para hacerle un regalo personalizado. Inspirándome en el logo de Superman, he hecho algo similar con el texto Superpapá, porque así es papá para nuestra hija. Lo he dibujado sin plantilla y rellenado usando un bolígrafo de punta fina, no es perfecto, pero creo que le va a gustar.

Father's Day is celebrated in Spain on March 19th, and in Belgium on the second Sunday of June. My daughter has made a gift in the school for her Dad. And I wanted that he had also a detail handmade, on next Sunday. I have re-used a notebook and a pen that we had without using at home yet, to do a personalized gift to him. Inspiring by Superman's logo, I have made something similar with the text Superdad, because of this way is Dad for our daughter. I have drawn it without any template and refilled using a pen, it is not perfect, but I think that it is going to please him.

Soporte o Stand para tarjeta reutilizando corchos - Stand for a card reusing corks

En una tienda, he visto un soporte o stand para una tarjeta hecho con un corcho colocado en posición horizontal y un pequeño corte a lo largo para mantener la tarjeta, después se ha colocado encima de un grupo de corchos en posición vertical. Aquí os muestro dos fotos desde dos distintas posiciones. Me ha gustado esta idea porque creo se puede utilizar para colocar alguna foto o también para escribir el nombre de los invitados y sentarlos en la mesa de una manera cómoda y organizada.

In a shop, I have seen a stand for a card made with a cork placed in horizontal position and a small cut lengthways to support the card, later it has placed on a group of corks in vertical position. Here I show you two photos from two different positions. I have liked it this idea because I think so is possible to use for placing some photo or also to write the name of the guests and to sit them in the table in a comfortable and organised manner.

Mi suegra, me regaló de su jardín un ramo de "Nazarenos" (Muscari neglectum) o Blauw druifje en Neerlandés. Como los jarrones que tengo aquí son muy grandes, he reutilizado un bote de vidrio como jarrón y lo he decorado con un cordón de lana de color fucsia haciendo un nudo. Me gusta la combinación de colores, todos intensos.

My mother-in-law, gave me of her garden a bouquet of "Grape Hyacinth" (Muscari neglectum) or Blauw druifje in Dutch. As the vases that I have here they are very big, I have re-used a glass jar as vase and I have decorated it with a cord of wool in fuchsia color doing a knot. I like the combination of colors, all of them are intense.
