Taller Cinco Sentidos: Oído - Workshop of Five Senses: Hearing

Para presentar el sentido del oído, V., otra madre y yo, dentro del Taller de los cincos sentidos, hemos preparado las siguientes actividades: primero, hemos mostrado unas fichas de animales y los niños debían adivinar a qué sonido pertenece a cada animal. Hemos buscado los sonidos de los animales en internet. Segundo, los niños han probado los sonidos que producen instrumentos musicales como: trompeta, carraca, pandereta, maracas y flauta. Tercero, han hecho percusión con elementos de la naturaleza y cotidianos como: piñas, trozos de madera, nueces, corchos, conchas marinas, cáscara de coco, palillos chinos y cucharas de plástico. Cuarto, hemos que prueban a hacer con nosotras, los sonidos del cuerpo más conocidos como: aplaudir, silbar, roncar, pisar, cantar y chasquear los dedos. Y quinto y último, han probado a tocar unos tambores sencillos que constan de: un trozo de cilindro de cartón (de esos de los rollos de papel de cocina) como cuerpo del tambor forrado con papel de regalo, celofán como parche sujeto con una goma elástica y como palillo un lápiz de madera de Ikea. Los niños se han divertido y han aprendido algo más de los cinco sentidos, eso era lo importante.
Como "extra" os comento, que si queréis visitar un Museo de Instrumentos Musicales en España diferente, quisiera recomendar: "La Casa del Gaitero". Hay que pedir cita antes, pero merece la pena los instrumentos son muy curiosos.

To introduce the sense of hearing, V., another mother and me, within of the workshop of the five senses, we have prepared the following activities : first, we have shown few pictures of animals and children had to guess to what sound belongs to each animal. We have looked for the sounds of animals on the internet. Second, children have tested the sounds that produce musical instruments such as: trumpet, carraca, tambourine, maracas and flute. Third, has made percussion with elements as: pine cones, pieces of wood, nuts, corks, sea shells, coconut shells, chopsticks and plastic spoons. Fourth, we have testing to do with us, the sounds of the body best known as: clapping, whistling, snoring, stepped on, singing and snapping your fingers. And fifth and last, have tried to play a few simple drums that consist of: a piece of cylinder cardboard (of those rolls of paper towels) as the drum body lined with paper, cellophane as patch subject with a rubber band and as stick a wooden pencil from Ikea. Here I show you the photos. Children have fun and have learned something more of the five senses, that was the most important for us.
As "extra" comment, if you want to visit a Museum of Musical Instruments in Spain, quite different I would like to recommend: "La Casa del Gaitero" (in English more or less "The House of the Piper"). You have to fix before an appointment, but it is worth because the instruments are very curious.
