Animales reciclando bolsas de plástico - Animals recycling plastic bags

En el mes pasado de Agosto, estuvimos visitando un poco Noruega. Allí, en la tienda del Museo Nobel de la Paz en Oslo, he visto cómo han reciclado bolsas de plástico para crear unos animales muy simpáticos. Aquí os los muestro, espero os gusten. In the last month of August, we were visiting a little bit Norway. There, int the shop of Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, I have seen how have recycled some plastic bags to create a nice animals. Me parece curioso cómo las compañías aéreas están innovando en la decoración de las bolsas que se usan cuándo te sientes mal. Esta bolsa que os muestro aquí pertenece a la compañía "Vueling". Ha ganado un premio en el Concurso: "Art in the Bag". Me gusta porque, es un juego dónde tienes que buscar las parejas que hay en toda la bolsa.

I find curious how the airline companies are innovating in the decoration of the bags that are used when you feel bad. This bag that I show here belongs to the company "Vueling". It has won a prize in the competition: "Art in the Bag". I like it because, it is a game where you have to find the matching pairs that are in the bag.

Juegos de inspiración Hawaiana - Games of Hawaiian inspiration

El mes pasado de Agosto, mis padres han regalado un disfraz de Hawaiana a mi hija. Para tener una tarde de actividades divertidas con ella, realicé unos juegos con este tema. Cuándo pienso en Hawai, me vienen a la mente imágenes agradables como: un bonito océano, peces de colores, flores exóticas, playas infinitas de arena, música suave, zumos de piña, conchas de formas variadas,...etc.  Primero, he reusado dos bandejas de poliespan. En ellas he dibujado una estrella de mar, un barco, una piña y una sombrilla. Mi hija usando unos palillos de aperitivo, ha ido perforando estos dibujos. Después, he reciclado las dos mitades de un coco para que hiciera percusión. Y por último, he reciclado dos botellas de agua de Pet como botellas sensoriales. En la primera botella, he introducido algunas semillas de chirimoya  y en la segunda unas conchas. Mi hija se ha divertido con esta actividad, ha bailado, ha hecho percusión disfrazada de Hawaiana y bebido un zumo de piña.

Last month of Augustm, my parents have given a Hawaiian costume for my daughter. To have an afternoon of fun with her, I made a few games with this theme. When I think of Hawaii, they come to my mind pleasant images like: a beautiful Ocean, fish of colors, exotic flowers, endless sand beaches, soft music, pineapple juice, shells of forms varied,... etc.  First, I have reused two polystyrene trays. In them I have drawn a starfish, a boat, a pineapple and a sunshade. My daughter using some snack sticks, has been perforating these drawings. Then I have recycled the two halves of a coconut to make percussion. And finally, I have recycled two Pet water bottles as sensory bottles. In the first bottle, I have inserted some seeds of Custard apple and in the second one some seashells. My daughter has enjoyed of this activity, she has danced, she has made percussion disguised as a Hawaiian and drunk a pineapple juice.

Un regalo de Lemon Curd - A Gift of Lemon Card

Cuándo mi hija acabó su Escuela de Verano, quise hacer un regalo a las Monitoras que habían cuidado de ella con cariño y dedicación. Además de juegos y actividades divertidas, las Monitoras le habían enseñado algunas palabras en Inglés. Entonces, me inspiré y preparé un regalo muy "Británico". Un bote de Lemon curd y una receta para preparar un postre con esta deliciosa crema de limón, que encontré en la página: "Postres de locura.com". Primero, imprimí la receta y la enrollé alrededor de una blonda del tamaño de un posavasos usando un poco de celo. Después envolví con celofán, la receta y el Lemon curd. Por último, lo até todo con un lazo rojo y puse una tarjeta que mi hija que había coloreado con unas palabras de agradecimiento.

When my daughter finished her Summer school, I wanted to give a gift to the Monitors that had cared for her with love and dedication. In addition playing games and doing fun activities, the Monitors had taught her some English words. Then, I got inspired about it and I prepared a very "British" gift. A pot of Lemon curd and a recipe to prepare a dessert using this delicious cream of lemon, which one I found it on the internet. Firstly, I printed the recipe and wound it around a doilly of the size of a coaster using a bit of scotch. Then I wrapped with cellophane, the recipe and the Lemon curd. Finally, I have tied the gift with a red ribbon and put a card that my daughter had colored with few words to say thank you.

Reutilizar pasta para crear un collar para niños - Reusing pasta to create a necklace for children

Mi hija en la Escuela ha realizado unos collares con pasta. Ha pintado unos macarrones con rotuladores y luego ha pintado unos dibujos de motivos marinos. Han hecho un agujero al motivo marino para decorar y lo ha insertado con los macarrones creando un collar divertido. En otro ha añadido un cascabel. Es algo sencillo que sirve para mejorar las habilidades de motricidad fina y es divertido.

My daughter at school has made few necklaces with pasta. She has painted some macaroni with markers. Later, she has also painted drawings of marine motifs. Her teacher has made a hole to the marine motif and she has inserted together with the Macaroni creating a fun necklace. In another, she added a jingle bell. It is something simple that helps to improve the fine motor skills and it is funny for the children.

Reutilizando tejas de barro como macetero - Reusing tiles of terracotta as pot

Hace unas semanas visitamos Gibraltar, en su Cementerio, aparte de su valor histórico, he visto un detalle que me ha gustado y he decidido mostrar en el Blog. Es un bonito macetero que han creado reutilizando tejas de barro cocido que han puesto en línea. He hecho tres fotos desde diferentes ángulos para que podáis verlo bien, espero os guste.

Few weeks ago we visited Gibraltar, in its cemetery, apart from its historical value, I have seen something that I liked and I have decided to show in the Blog. It is a nice pot created by reusing tiles of terracotta which ones have been put online. I have made three pictures from different angles so that you can see it well, I hope you like it.

Hoy, tenemos nuestro Cumpleaños, ¡¡cinco años!!¡¡Increíble!! Nunca pensé que el Blog tendría tanta vida, y bueno, cómo no sabemos qué sucederá en el futuro, vamos a celebrarlo disfrutando de un helado de vainilla y nueces pecán y por encima unas semillas cubiertas de yogur y chocolate, ¡qué rico! ¡Gracias por tantas visitas desde tantos países!

Today we have our birthday, five years! Amazing!! I never thought that the Blog would have so much life, and well, how we do not know what will happen in the future, we are going to celebrate it enjoying of a vanilla ice cream with some pecan nuts and top seeds covered with yogurt and chocolate, delicious!
