Ropa hecha con Materiales Metálicos - Clothes made with Metallic Materials

Ahora, que va a finalizar el año, es divertido llevar algo "brillante" o "metálico". Por si os sirve de inspiración, os muestro que en la Exposición: Re-Crea, que visité en Casa de Zafra, Granada, España en Junio, he visto estas prendas de ropa hecha con materiales metálicos. Son tres piezas muy diferentes.

Actividades para niños: Casita Jengibre de Supermercado Lidl y manualidades - Activities for children: Gingerbread House of Lidl's Supermarket and crafts

Aquí en Andalucía, a partir de mañana 21 de Diciembre, empiezan las dos semanas de vacaciones de Navidad para los niños. En mi opinión, son días para estar con la familia y hacer algunas actividades diferentes en exterior e interior con niños. Ayer, hemos comenzado con las actividades especiales de estas fechas. Primero, en el Supermercado Lidl, hemos comprado una caja que trae una placas de galletas de jengibre para crear una casa de jengibre, figuras de azúcar y dulces. Con mucha paciencia hemos ensamblado y decorado todo para hacer esta casita. Hemos usado palillos de madera para sujetar las placas durante un par de horas y el "pegamento" con el que adherimos las paredes y los dulces es una mezcla que obtenemos batiendo un poco de azúcar polvo o glass y agua. ¿Qué os parece?

Here in Andalusia, from tomorrow on December 21st, begin two weeks of Christmas Holidays for the children. In my opinion, they are days to visit to your relatives and to do some different activities in exterior and interior with children. Yesterday, we have begun with the special activities of these dates. First, in the Supermarket Lidl, we have bought a box that brings some parts of ginger cookies to create a Gingerbread House, some figures of sugar and sweets. With many patience we have assembled and decorated everything to do this little house. We have used wooden toothpicks to hold the parts during a couple of hours and the "glue" with which we have glued the walls adn sweets is a mixture that we obtain beating a bit of sugar powder or glass and it waters down. What do you think about it?

Creando unas tarjetas de Navidad reusando tarjetas de papel kraft - Creating some Christmas cards reusing some kraft cards

He creado unas postales de Navidad reutilizando unas tarjetas de papel de estraza o Kraft, que yo había comprado hace unos años en Ikea. El primer paso ha sido imprimir unas imágenes en blanco y negro de la página shutterstock con el texto: "Feliz Navidad" en Español e Inglés. El segundo paso es pegar estos textos en las tarjetas. El tercer y último paso es colorear con bolígrafo plateado un poco los adornos y texto. Aquí tenéis el resultado.

I have created few Christmas cards re-using some cards of paper kraft, that I had bought some years ago in Ikea. The first step has been to print few images in black and white from the page shutterstock with the text: " Happy Christmas " on Spanish and English language. The second step is to stick these texts in the cards. The third and last step is to color with silver pen a bit the adornments and text. Here you have the result.

Casita de San Nicolás - House of Sinterklaas

Hoy, 6 de Diciembre es el día de la Constitución Española. En Países Bajos, es el día que San Nicolás o Sinterklaas ha dejado regalos a los niños. Mi marido, es Holandés y yo Española, entonces, nosotros intentamos que nuestra hija conozca las tradiciones de ambos países. Ahora, os muestro una manualidad para este día de San Nicolás. Unas casas con los típicos tejados Holandeses en forma de escalera. En los tejados, podéis ver a San Nicolás montado en su caballo y acompañado de sus pajes que se llaman Zwarte Piet y que llevan en sus sacos los regalos de los niños.

Today, on December 06th it is the day of the Spanish Constitution. In the Netherlands, it is the day that Saint Nicholas or Sinterklaas has left gifts to the children. My husband, is Dutch and I am Spanish, then, wee try that our daughter knows the traditions of both countries. Now, I show you a craft for this day of Saint Nicholas. A few houses with the typical Dutch roofs in the shape of stairs. In the roofs, you can see Saint Nicholas ridding in his horse and accompanied of soem boys who call Zwarte Piet who take in their bags the gifts of the children. The blog is the following one:

¡Hola! Ha empezado el Adviento, es el momento de prepararnos para vivir una bonita Navidad con todo lo que ello significa. Para los niños también, es una época muy especial. En la página web de Kizclub, he encontrado una plantilla de una Corona de Navidad disponible en blanco y negro y en color. Yo la he impreso en blanco y negro, después mi hija la ha decorado. Hello! It has begun the Advent, is the moment to prepare ourselves to live a nice Christmas  time with everything what it means. For the children also, it is a very special time. In Kizclub web site, I have found a template of a Christmas's Crown available in black and white and in color. I have printed it in black and white, later my daughter has painted it. As last step, we have hung it on our door.

Este pasado mes de junio se celebró por segundo año la Exposición: “Re-Crea. Exposición de Creación y Reciclaje” en la Casa de Zafra, en la ciudad de Granada. España. Había una gran variedad de trabajos artísticos realizados con materiales reciclados, y hoy quisiera mostrar este trabajo de título: Pegasus de la  Autora: Csilla Arndt. Cómo podéis apreciar ha reciclado vasos de envase de yogurt, de galletas, de helado, bandejas de poliestireno, pinzas de la ropa de plástico, etc.

This last month of June was celebrated for the second year the Exhibitiion: "Re-Crea. Exhibition of Creation and Recycling " in the Casa de Zafra, in the city of Granada. Spain. There was a great variety of artistic works realized with recycled materials, and today I would like to show this work of title: Pegasus of the Authoress: Csilla Arndt. How you can appreciate has recycled yogurt package,  cookies packaging, an ice cream plastic tray, trays of polystyrene, plastic clothespins, etc.

He creado este centro decorativo de mesa, usando unas buganvillas que había recogido el pasado Verano. He puesto en un recipiente de cristal las buganvillas en el fondo y encima cuatro velas de Ikea de aroma vainilla. No voy a encender las velas, porque creo que pueden ser inflamables.

I have created this decorative table centerpiece using few bougainvillea that I had gathered last Summer. I have put in a vase of crystal the bougainvillea in the bottom and it raises four Ikea's candles of vainilla scent. I am not going to ignite the candles, because I think that they can be inflammable.

I liked it very much this dress done with plastic and plastic straws, in my opinion, it has a very creative design. Reutilizar pinzas de madera de la ropa para crear animales - Reusing few wooden clothes pins to create some animals

Puedes reutilizar unas pinzas de ropa de madera, para crear unos simpáticos animales cómo han hecho mi sobrino y mi hija. Sólo tienes que recortar o crear una figura de un animal en cartulina y pegarla a la pinza. Aquí puedes ver los animales que han creado: una ballena, un pez y una rana. Estoy segura qué tú también tienes muchas ideas.

You can reuse few wooden clothes pins to create some nice animals how they have made my nephew and my daughter. Only you have to cut away or create a figure of an animal in cardboard and to stick it to the clothes pin. Here you can see the animals that they have created: a whale, a fish and a frog. I am sure what you also have many ideas.

En la Exposición de: “Re-Crea. Creación y Reciclaje”, que he visto en Casa de Zafra, en Granada, España, el pasado mes de junio, he visto esta obra titulada: "Fragmentos" de la Autora: Almudena Moreno Baena. Me gusta mucho porque ha reciclado bolsas de té, para crear un cuadro. En las fotos, podéis ver que este cuadro tiene diferentes tonos de colores y en algunas de las bolsas, la autora ha dibujado caras.

In the Exhibition of: " Re- Crea. Creation and Recycling ", that I have seen in Casa de Zafra, in Granada, Spain, the last  month of June, I have seen this work named: "Fragmentos" ("Fragments") from the Authoress: Almudena Moreno Baena. I like much, because, she has recycled some tea bags to create a picture. In the photos, you can see that this picture has different tones of colors and in some of the bags she has drawn some faces.

Capa de Superman reciclando tela de paraguas - Cape of Superman recycling fabric of an umbrella

He reciclado la tela de un paraguas rojo y una camiseta con el logotipo de Superman para hacer una capa de este Héroe, para mi sobrino. Sólo he recortado el logotipo y lo he cosido con hilo rojo a la capa. Después, he cosido dos tiras de lazo rojo para que él pueda atar la capa a su cuello. Este es el resultado de la Capa de Superman.

I have recycled the fabric of a red umbrella and a t-shirt with the Superman logo to make a cape of this hero, for my nephew. I have just cut out the logo from the t-shirt and I have sewn it using red thread to the cape. Later, I sewed up two strips of red ribbon, so he can tie around of his neck this cape. This is the result of the Superman's Cape.

Reusando unas pegatinas que me envío mi amiga C., de Escocia, he hecho cuatro postales para Halloween. He usado unas tarjetas de papel Kraft con sobre. Las medidas de la tarjeta son: 15 x10 cm y los sobres son: 17 x 12.5 cm. Después, usando unos rotuladores de color rojo, azul y blanco respectivamente, he escrito los textos. Son tarjetas sencillas y rápidas de hacer.

Reusing few stickers that my friend C., of Scotland sent me, I have made four postcards for Halloween. I have used some cards of paper Kraft and evelopes. The measures of the card are: 15 x10 cm and the envelopes are: 17 x 12.5 cm. Later, using felt-tip pens of red, blue and white color respectively, I have written the texts. They are simple and fast cards of doing.

En la Exposición: Re-Crea que se celebró en junio, en Casa Zafra, en Granada, España, me pareció muy curioso cómo varios Artistas habían creado trajes a partir del reciclado de algunos materiales. Hoy, me gustaría mostrar tres trajes dónde las tres autoras han reciclado plástico, en espuma negra, en malla semi-rígida con bordados y con fleje usado para atar palets. Primero, veréis el Título de la obra, segundo, el nombre de la Autora y tercero, dos fotos, una del traje al completo y otra de un detalle del material. Espero os gusten. 

At the Exhibition: Re-Crea that was celebrated in June, in Casa Zafra, in Granada, Spain, it seemed to me to be very curious how several Artists had created suits from the recycling of some materials. Today,  I would like to show you three suits where three authoresses have recycled plastic, in black foam, in semi-rigid mesh with embroideries and with a strapping band for pallets. First, you will see the Title of the work, second, the name of the Authoress and third, two photos, one of the complete suit and other one of a detail of the material. I hope you like them.

Reciclar Caja de madera de Fruta como macetero - Recycling Wooden Fruit Box as Flower-Pot

Este pasado Verano, en el Castillo y Restaurante de Hackfort, en Países Bajos, he visto cómo han reciclado una caja de madera de fruta como macetero para decorar las mesas en el jardín. Esta caja contiene Capuchina (Troapeolum majus), que se suele usar en ensaladas.

This last Summer, in the Castle and Restaurant of Hackfort, in the Netherlands, I have seen how they have recycled a wooden fruit box as flower-pot to decorate the tables in the garden. This box contains Nasturtium (Troapeolum majus), which is used in salads.
