Reutilizar blonda para crear abanicos por el Día de Andalucía - Reusing doily to create fans for the Andalusian's Day

Hoy es el día de Andalucía, para celebrarlo he hecho con mi hija unos sencillos abanicos. Porque, los abanicos son muy útiles en esta región del Sur de España dónde tenemos altas temperaturas. Los materiales que hemos usado son posavasos de blondas, cinta washi tape, un par de tijeras y rotuladores. He cortado los posavasos por la mitad, después mi hija y yo hemos pintado lunares usando los rotuladores. Por último hemos puesto washi tape a modo de agarrador para sujetarlo en el mueble que hemos decorado. Aquí podéis ver el proceso y resultado final.

Today is the day of Andalusia, to celebrate it I have made with my daughter some simple fans. Because, fans are very useful in this region of southern Spain where we have high temperatures. The materials, that we are going to use are doily coasters, washi tape, a pair of scissors and felt-tipped pens. The coasters I have cut in half, after my daughter and I have painted polka dots using felt-tipped pens. Finally we have put washi tape as a handle to hold it in the piece of furniture that we have decorated. Here you can see the process and end result.

Para continuar mejorando las habilidades de motricidad fina de mi hija, he creado un nuevo juego. He reusado un cilindro de cartón de los que hay en el interior de un rollo de papel de cocina y luego le he hecho agujeros usando un palito de madera. Después, ella con sus tijeras de niña, no las que aparecen en la foto, ha cortado pajitas de plástico de diferentes longuitudes y las va introduciendo en estos agujeros. Es un juego de precisión para niños pequeños que se hace en unos minutos con materiales fáciles de encontrar en vuestra casa y muy económico.

To further improve my daughter fine motor skills, I have created a new game. I have reused the cylinder of cardboard which one is inside of a roll of paper towels and then I have done some holes using a wooden stick. Then, she using with her girl pair of scissors, not those that appear in the photo, has been cutting out different pieces of some plastic straws and inserting them into these holes. It is a game of precision for little children which one is done in a few minutes with materials easily available in your home and very economic.

Me apetecía crear unos juegos divertidos reciclando tapones de briks de leche como ya hice el pasado Verano.

En este momento, he usado unas tablas de 30 cm de largo x 10 cm de ancho, esmalte de uñas para pintar los dibujos, tapones, rotulador permanente y he elegido el motivo de transportes. Primero, he hecho uno de un avión volando en el cielo y los tapones se sitúan en globos que cuelgan de la cola del avión. Segundo, he hecho otro de un paisaje urbano, dónde se pueden encontrar, un helicóptero, un coche y un autobús. Los tapones se sitúan en las ruedas de coche y autobús respectivamente. Aquí os muestro las fotos. Me he olvidado de crear un tren y un barco, ¡quizás los haré para otra ocasión!

I wanted to create some funny games recycling some milk caps from milk bricks like I did in the last Summer.

At this time, I used some tables of 30 cm long x 10 cm wide, nail polish to paint the drawings, milk caps, permanent marker and I have chosen the motive of transport. First, I made one from a plane flying in the sky and the milk caps are placed in balloons hanging from the tail of the plane. Second, I made another of an urban landscape, where you can find, a helicopter, a car and a bus. The milk caps are placed in car and bus wheels respectively. Here I show you the photos. I have forgotten to create a train and a boat, perhaps I will do them for another occasion!

En pocos días llegará San Valentín y para celebrar esta fecha he creado dos puzzles con la forma de un corazón para mi hija. Primero, he reciclado unos palitos de polo, los he sujetado con celo y he dibujado un corazón con una plantilla con cartón. Después los he pintado con esmalte de uñas, he bordeado el dibujo y he numerado cada palito para que sea más fácil hacerlo. Creo será una sorpresa simpática para mi hija.

In few days will Saint Valentine's day and to celebrate this date I have created two puzzles in the shape of a heart for my daughter. First, I have recycled some popsicle sticks, I fastened them with a scotch tape, and I have drawn a heart with a template made with cardboard. Then I painted them with nail polish, I skirted the drawing and I have numbered each popsicle stick to make it easier. I think will be a nice surprise for my daughter.

He reciclado una túnica de ángel para crear un disfraz de Reina de las Nieves. Primero, he dibujado en la parte delantera y trasera de la túnica, algunos copos de nieve . Los he pintado encima con pegamento brillante. Después, he cosido un pequeño adorno en la parte delantera. Y en la parte trasera he cosido un velo como adorno. Por último, he completado el conjunto con una capa para cubrir los hombros de punto y unos guantes, ambas prendas son en color blanco.

I have recycled an angel tunic to create a costume of Snow Queen. First, I have drawn on the front and back part of the tunic, some snowflakes. I have painted them glitter. Then, I have sewed up a small embellishment on the front side. And on the back side, I have sewn a veil as a thin ornament. Finally, I have completed the set with a cape to cover the shoulders and a pair of gloves, both garments are in white color.
