Hacer un Marcapáginas reciclando una caja de galletas de plástico - Making a Bookmark recycling a cookies plastic box

Hace unos días, compramos unas galletas de coco en una de las tiendas Hema de Madrid. Hema es una cadena de tiendas originaria de Países Bajos. Encontré simpática la banda inferior de plástico, que venía en la caja con un dibujo de casas. He limpiado esta banda, recortado, pegado en un trozo de cartulina blanca de medidas: 20 cm de largo x 3.5 cm de ancho y rematado con un par de grapas. Ahora tengo un marcapáginas para dar como pequeño regalo a mi marido hoy, 27 de abril, Día del Rey, Fiesta Nacional de Países Bajos.

Few days ago, we bought some cookies of coconut in one of the shops Hema of Madrid. Hema is an original chain of shops of the Netherlands. I found it nice the band of plastic in the lower part of the box with a drawing of houses. I have cleaned this band, cut away, stuck in a chunk of white cardboard of measures: 20 cm of lenght x 3.5 cm of width and finished off with a couple of staples. Now, I have a bookmark to give as little gift to my husband today, on April 27th, Day of the King, National Day of the Netherlands.

Hoy 23 de Abril, es el Día del Libro en España, para celebrar este día, he hecho dos libros con la colaboración de mi hija y mi sobrino. Uno de Insectos y otro de Mascotas, gracias a la cortesía de Kizclub.  Ellos han coloreado, recortado y yo les he ayudado a pegar para ensamblar estos dos libritos. Después hemos leído unos cuentos, es importante en mi opinión fomentar siempre la lectura en los niños. Aquí os dejo los enlaces de estos libros para niños por si también queréis hacerlo.

Today April 23rd, is the Day of the Book in Spain, to celebrate this day, I have made two books with the collaboration of my daughter and my nephew. One of Insects and another of Pets, thanks to the courtesy of Kizclub. They have colored, trimmed and I have helped them to paste to join these two little books. After, we have read some stories. It is important in my opinion, to always encourage reading in children. Here I leave the links of these books for children in case you also want to make it.

Juego de Emociones reciclando tapones de tetrabriks - Emotions' Game recycling some milk caps

He hecho un Juego de Emociones, reciclando tapones de tetrabriks de leche y zumo. El primer paso, es pegar 9 tapones de diferentes colores, usando la pistola de silicona caliente a una tabla de medidas: 20 cm de largo x 10 cm de ancho. El segundo paso, es dibujar con un rotulador permanente negro, las expresiones de las emociones en los tapones. Y el tercer y último paso, es escribir la expresión con texto en Español en la parte superior del tapón y en Inglés en la parte inferior. Las 4 expresiones descritas desde arriba hacia la derecha son: Triste (Sad), Feliz (Happy), Enfadado (Angry), Tranquilo (Relaxed). Después aparece: Enamorado (In Love) y desde abajo hacia a la izquierda son: Aburrido (Bored), Asustado (Scared), Cansado (Tired) y Furioso (Furious).

I have made a Game of Emotions, recycling some milk and juice caps. The first step is to paste 9 caps of different colors, using the hot silicone gun to a table of measures: 20 cm long x 10 cm wide. The second step, is to draw with a permanent black pen, the expressions of emotions in the caps. And the third and last step, is to write the expression with Spanish text on the top of the cap and in English on the cap. The 4 expressions described from above to the right are: Triste (Sad), Feliz (Happy), Enfadado (Angry), Tranquilo (Relaxed). Later it appears: Enamorado (In Love) and from below to the left are: Aburrido (Bored), Asustado (Scared), Cansado (Tired) and Furioso (Furious). 
This is the result, I hope you like it.

Actividades sobre el Ártico para niños, segunda parte - Activities about the Arctic for children, second part

Las otras actividades que hemos hecho sobre el Ártico para niños, son cuatro que os explico seguidamente.
La primera actividad, consiste en crear un dibujo de un iglú, con algunos osos polares y una aurora boreal. Para ello, hemos necesitado tijeras, cartulina azul, cartulinas blancas, pegatinas de osos, un par de tijeras, pegamento de purpurina plateado (glitter), pegamento de barra y líquido. He dibujado un iglú y he recortado ladrillos con la cartulina blanca. Mi hija ha pegado estos ladrillos para construir el iglú. Después, ha pegado unos osos y creado una aurora boreal con pegamento de purpurina o glitter. Estos son los materiales y el resultado.
Other activities that we have done about the Arctic for children, are four that I explain to you immediately. 
The first activity, it consists to create the drawing of an igloo, with some polar bears and a northern lights. For it, we have needed scissors, blue cardboard, white cardboards, stickers of bears, a couple of scissors, silver glitter, and two types of glue. I have drawn an igloo and have cut bricks away with the white cardboard. My daughter has stuck these bricks to construct the igloo. Later, has stuck a few bears and created a northern lights with glitter. These are the materials and the result.

La segunda actividad, consiste en un recortable de una niña esquimal que he encontrado en internet. Tiene diferentes trajes que se van poniendo.

La tercera actividad, la hemos realizado gracias a la cortesía de Filefolderfun.com. Se trata de un juego de sombras de piedras para crear un totem como los totems realizados por los Inuits, habitantes autóctonos del Ártico. Puedes construir estos totems también con piedras como he hecho yo.

The third activity, we have realized it thanks to courtesy of Filefolderfun.com. It is a game of shades of stones to create a totem as the totems nade for the Inuits, autochthonous inhabitants of the Arctic. You can construct these totems also with stones since I have made it.

La cuarta actividad, consiste en colorear un dibujo de Inuits con trineo y sus preciosos perros "Hukskies".

Espero os gusten estas actividades, la he realizado con la intención de que sean divertidas y colaboren a mejorar las habilidades de la motricidad fina.

Actividades sobre el Ártico para niños, primera parte - Activities about Arctic for children, first part

Hace unas semanas, visitamos una Exposición acerca del pasado, presente y futuro del Ártico. Los niños estuvieron encantados y los adultos también. Con este tema quise hacer algunas actividades sencillas para que ellos jugaran un rato. Primero, pinté el interior de una caja de cartón con una parte de fondo marino, un área de hielo y el cielo. Después, con algunos animales Árticos que teníamos en casa: un oso polar, una ballena y un delfín, estuvieron imaginando sus historias.
Few weeks ago, we visited an exhibition about the past, present and future of the Arctic. The children were delighted and the adults too. With this theme I wanted to do some simple activities so that they could play for a while. First, I painted the inside of a cardboard box with a part of the seabed, an area of ​​ice and the sky. Later, with some Arctic animals that we had at home: a polar bear, a whale and a dolphin, they were imagining their stories.

He reciclado esta cesta que había usado antes, ahora como contenedor para los materiales de manualidades de mi hija. De esta forma, están todos juntos y ordenados.

Actividades de Pascua para niños - Activities of Easter for children

En estos pasados días de Pascua he hecho algunas actividades con este tema con mi hija.
Primero, he dibujado formas geométricas en papel blanco adhesivo y ella las ha recortado y pegado para decorar unos huevos de plástico azules.
In these past Easter days I have made some activities with this theme with my daughter. 
First, I have drawn some geometric shapes on white adhesive paper and she has cut them out and pasted them to decorate some blue plastic eggs.

Segundo, con unos trozos de goma eva blanca, un par de cordones negros, un perforador y rotulador negro, he dibujado unos conejos y perforado la goma eva blanca, para que mi hija pase el cordón negro dentro de los agujeros.
