Bolsas de papel decoradas como un Muñeco de Nieve y un Reno - Paper Bags decorated like a Snowman and a Reindeer

Mi hija ha decorado un par de bolsas de cartón con personajes típicos de Navidad, reutilizando algunos trozos de cartulinas que teníamos en casa y trozos de goma eva. Es muy sencillo, una bolsa de papel blanca, la ha decorado como un muñeco de nieve y una bolsa de papel marrón tipo kraft como la cara de un reno a la cuál le faltan los cuernos...¡Lo siento, nos hemos olvidado!
El hecho más importante es que mi hija ha estado muy contenta realizando estas decoraciones y yo también.

My daughter has decorated a couple of cardboard bags with typical Christmas characters, reusing some pieces of cardboard that we had at home and pieces of eva foam. It is very simple, a white paper bag, has been decorated like a snowman and a brown kraft paper bag like the face of a reindeer missing its horns... Sorry, we forgot them! 
The most important fact is that my daughter has been very happy making these decorations and me too.

Estos días de Navidad, que son muy adecuados para ver decoraciones en los pueblos y ciudades de nuestro entorno se puede apreciar la creatividad de la gente en muchos detalles. Por ejemplo, quisiera mostraros cómo en una tienda especializada en artículos de fiesta y disfraces llamada: "Party Fiesta"en Granada, España,  han creado este Papá Noël reusando globos.

These Christmas days, which are very suitable to see decorations in the towns and cities around us you can appreciate the creativity of the people in many details. For example, I would like to show you how in a store specialized in party items and costumes called "Party Fiesta" in Granada, Spain, they have created this Santa Claus reusing balloons. Gorros de Elfos - Elves Hats

Los Elfos están de moda ahora más que otros años aquí en España, de hecho, una de las cadenas más importantes comerciales Española, "El Corte Inglés", en sus anuncios de Navidad muestra una historia de Elfos. Yo he reciclado, un par de gorros de publicidad de una bebida, para convertirlos en gorros de Elfos. He doblado y cosido el borde del gorro hacia arriba y he escrito la palabra "Elfo y Elfa". En la punta he cosido un cascabel. Lo hice para dos niños y les gustó mucho.

Elves are trendy now more than other years here in Spain, in fact, one of the most important Spanish Commercial Store, "El Corte Inglés", in their Christmas advertisements have shown a little story about Elves. I have recycled a couple of advertising caps from a drink, to turn them into elf hats. I have folded and sewn the edge of the hat up and I have written the word "Elf boy and Elf girl". At the tip I have sewn a bell.  I made them for two kids and they really liked it.

I have reused a chocolate box given to me by my friend C., to create some labels to identify Christmas gifts. I have cut the cardboard, I made a hole and put a ribbon on it. I will also recycle the ribbon that carries the box to decorate a gift.

He hecho unas Postales de Navidad, reusando unas cartulinas verdes y unas cintas de organza que llevan un ciervo gris. Sólo he pegado esta cinta con pegamento para crear estas postales en disposición horizontal y vertical.

I made some Christmas cards, reusing some green cardboard and organza ribbons that carry a grey deer. I just glued this tape together to create these postcards horizontally and vertically.

En los Países Bajos, hay un alojamiento "Bed & Breakfast" que se llama: "De Eefdese Enk". Allí nos alojamos la Primavera pasada. Es un sitio encantador y sus anfitriones son muy amables. En su Hall de entrada, hice esta foto. Ellos han reutilizando un palo y han colgado diferentes corazones hechos con distintos materiales a alturas variadas. Es algo sencillo y bonito.

In the Netherlands, there is a "Bed & Breakfast" accommodation called: "De Eefdese Enk". We stayed there last spring. It is a lovely place and your hosts are very kind. In your entrance hall, I took this photo. They have reused a stick and have hung different hearts made with different materials at different heights. It is something simple and beautiful.

At the sustainable Clothing Shop "Aiayu" in Copenhagen, Denmark, I really liked how they decorated the shop window to show the fashion of this autumn season. They have used ears of wheat and other plants to create a nice frame in the window.

He descubierto una empresa en la ciudad de Granada, que hace baldosas artesanales bonitas, sostenibles y elegantes. Me ha gustado especialmente cómo las baldosas pueden ser utilizadas para diferenciar un espacio, para crear un cabecero en una cama doble y más usos. ¿Os gusta? En mi opinión, es una opción muy interesante y diferente.

I have discovered a company in the city of Granada, that makes beautiful and elegant handmade tiles. I especially liked how the tiles can be used to differentiate a space like behind a sofa and to create a headboard on a double bed, and more uses. Do you like it? In my opinion, it is an interesting and different option.

At the Recycling Exhibition Recrea, which one I visited in June of this year 2019 in Granada, Spain, I have seen how they have created this sculpture of a turtle by reusing bottle plates and rings of soft drinks. The title is: "Vida entre plástico" (Life among plastic) and its author is: Inés Román Marinetto.

Hoy, para celebrar el día de Halloween, mi madre ha asado un boniato para mí como postre especial. Yo le he echado un poco de azúcar encima y he colocado unas calabazas decorando el plato. Es un postre de Otoño perfecto para estos días fríos.

Today, to celebrate the day of Halloween, my mother roasted for me a sweet potato as a special dessert. I poured some sugar on it and placed some pumpkins decorating the plate. It is a perfect autumn dessert for these cold days.

He reciclado unos bloques de "Lego" pequeños para realizar unos llaveros en tres colores, negro, rojo y blanco. Es sencillo, con un alfiler haces un agujero usando un martillo en la parte superior. Después, pones una pequeña argolla y por último, introduces una anilla. El resultado es un llavero divertido para los fans de "Lego" como yo.

I have recycled some small "Lego" blocks to make three-color key chains, black, red and white. It is simple, with a pin you make a hole using a hammer on the top. Then, you put a little shackle and finally, insert a ring. The result is a fun keychain for "Lego" fans like me.

En una Peluquería en la ciudad de Granada, España, he visto cómo han reciclado algunos cilindros de piscina. Los autores de este trabajo, han cortado estos cilindros de espuma, que se usan en ejercicios en la piscina para crear unas piezas, como las "Hama Beads" y crear un mosaico para decorar el escaparate de una Peluquería. El mosaico creado, es una calavera, que cómo sabéis es algo, muy típico de este tiempo de Halloween.

In a Hairdresser’s in the city of Granada, Spain, I have seen how they have recycled some pool cylinders. The authors of this work, have cut these foam cylinders, which are used in exercises in the pool to create some pieces, like the "Hama Beads" and create a mosaic to decorate the window of a Hairdresser. The mosaic created is a skull, which as you know is something very typical of this Halloween time.

En la Brasserie Veluwezoom, en Países Bajos, que se encuentra dentro del Parque Natural Veluwezoom, he disfrutado comiendo una comida sencilla y saludable. También, he visto cómo han reciclado un trozo de cartón y un cilindro de cartón dónde se enrolla el papel higiénico para cubrirlo con semillas y proporcionar algo de alimento a los pájaros. Es curioso, ¿verdad?

At the Brasserie Veluwezoom in the Netherlands, which is located within the Veluwezoom Natural Park, I have enjoyed eating a simple and healthy meal. I have also seen them recycle a piece of cardboard and a cardboard cylinder where the toilet paper is rolled up to cover it with seeds and provide some food for the birds. It’s funny, isn’t it?

En el Museo de la Sinagoga de la Calle Dohány, o la Gran Sinagoga de Budapest, la segunda más grande del mundo, en Hungría, he visto algunos objetos muy interesantes. Me ha gustado este candelabro, que se ha hecho reusando una concha como base. Me parece precioso y muy creativo.

In the Museum of the Synagogue of Dohány Street, or the Great Synagogue of Budapest, the second largest in the world, in Hungary, I have seen some very interesting objects. I liked this chandelier, which was made by reusing a shell as a base. I find it beautiful and very creative.
