El planeta Tierra llora - The Earth planet cries

El año pasado visité la Exposición de Reciclaje:"Recrea", allí encontré muchos trabajos interesantes que os voy mostrando poco a poco en este blog. Hoy quisiera mostraros la obra: "Emotierra"  de la autora: Ángeles Anaya Valverde. Es un globo terráqueo hecho con polietireno, cable y botellas de agua de pet. Desgraciadamente, me recuerda la situación que hoy vivimos, los habitantes de este planeta llamado: "La Tierra", estamos paralizados por una pandemia mundial ocasionada por un virus llamado Covid-19 y nuestro planeta llora y se lamenta.

Last year I visited the Recycling Exhibition: "Recrea" , there I found many interesting works that I’m showing you little by little in this blog. Today I would like to show you the work: "Emotierra" by the authoress: Ángeles Anaya Valverde. It is a globe made of polystyrene cork, cable and pet water bottles. Unfortunately, it reminds me of the situation we are living today, the inhabitants of this planet called "The Earth", we are paralyzed by a global pandemic caused by a virus called Covid-19 and our planet cries and laments.

Reutilizar una caja de cartón de un calendario para hacer etiquetas - Reusing a cardboard box from a calendar to make some tags

He reutilizado la caja de cartón de un calendario de pared Chino para crear unas etiquetas para identificar unas cajas. Sólo he recortado la forma de la etiqueta, perforado un agujero y puesto un trozo de cuerda. Así quedan mis etiquetas, espero os gusten.

I reused the cardboard box from a Chinese wall scroll calendar to create some tags to identify some boxes. I have just cut the shape of the label, made a hole and put a piece of rope on it. That is what my labels look like, I hope you like them.

Este trabajo, que he fotografiado en la Exposición: "Recrea" en Granada, España, en el pasado mes de  junio de 2019, me parece muy especial. Parece un abrigo de papel de periódico decorado con trozos de cristal y que se cierra con un trozo de plástico a modo de cinturón. También lleva una corona de armazón metálico con cristales como si fueran gemas. Su título es: "Noche de los cristales rotos" y sus Autores son: Celia Sánchez Robles y Jesús Salamanca Navarro.

This work, that I have photographed in the Exhibition: "Recrea" in Granada, Spain, last June 2019, seems to me very special. It looks like a newspaper coat decorated with pieces of glass and closed with a piece of plastic as a belt. It also has a metal-framed crown with glasses as if they were gems. Its title is: "Noche de los cristales rotos" and theirs authors are: Celia Sánchez Robles and Jesús Salamanca Navarro.

Ayer, 19 de Marzo, se celebró el: "Día del Padre" en España, que coincide con la festividad de San José. Lo primero mis felicitaciones a mi padre, para todos los padres del mundo y las personas que lleven de nombre, José, Josefa, Josefina y María José.
Cómo algo especial para este día, mi hija le ha hecho un pequeño regalo a su padre. Le he dado una funda de tela de algodón blanca y un bolígrafo permanente. Entonces, ella ha escrito: "Felicidades papá, te quiero mucho" y ha hecho un dibujo. Después le he cosido yo un cierre. Es un regalo sencillo, pero que ha gustado a su papá. Ahora será una funda original para gafas de sol.

Yesterday, March 19th, was celebrated the "Father’s Day" in Spain, which coincides with the feast of Saint Joseph. First of all, my congratulations to my father, to all the fathers all around the world and to all the people named, José (Joseph), Josefa, Josefina (Josephine) and María José. 
As something special for this day, my daughter has given a small gift to her father. I have given her a white cotton cloth sleeve and a permanent pen. So, she has written: "Congratulations dad, I love you very much"(In Spanish)  and has made a drawing. Later, I have sewn a fastener on it. It is a simple gift, but it has pleased her dad. Now it will be an original case for sunglasses.

In the city of Copenhagen, in Denmark, I have visited a different place, it is the "Free City" known as: "Christiania". I show you some photos that I have made of some artistic sculptures created reusing metal pieces and covered of some plants.

Mensajes positivos en una maceta - Positive messages in a flowerpot

Visité el Parque de Keukenhof hace tres años. Está situado en Países Bajos, sólo abre en Primavera coincidiendo con la floración de tulipanes, narcisos y otras flores. Es un lugar muy bonito. Allí hice esta fotografía de una maceta de tulipanes con un par de mensajes positivos y que incitan a la acción. Los mensajes, están escritos en Inglés y dicen: "Keep calm and say I do", "Yes I do!" traducido sería, algo así como: "Mantén la calma y comunica qué vas a hacer", "Sí, lo haré". Creo que son mensajes interesantes, optimistas y apropiados. ¿Os gusta poner mensajes en una maceta?

I visited Keukenhof three years ago. It is located in the Netherlands, only opens in Spring coinciding with the flowering of tulips, daffodils and other flowers. It is a very nice place. There I took this picture of a tulip pot with a couple of positive and action-prompting messages. The messages are written in English and say: "Keep calm and say I do", "Yes I do!" I think these are interesting, optimistic and appropriate messages. Do you like to put messages in a flowerpot?

Capa hecha con anillas de latas de refresco y lana - Cape made with rings of soft drinks cans and wool

Visité en Junio de 2019, en la ciudad de Granada, España, la Exposición: "Recrea" de Reciclaje. Encontré trabajos muy creativos como este llamado: "Arma d'anilla" del autor: Jorge Juan Hernández López. Os lo muestro porque me recordó a los trajes de las películas ambientadas en la Edad Media. Es una capa hecha con anillas de latas de refrescos y lana. ¿Qué os parece?

I found very creative works like this one called "Arma d'anilla" by the author: Jorge Juan Hernández López. I show it to you because it reminded me of the costumes from the movies set in the Middle Ages. It is a cape made with rings of soft drinks cans and wool. What do you think?
