He decorado unos globos para un Cumpleaños. Simplemente, he pegado con fixo unas servilletas dónde está escrito: "Happy Birthday". Aquí os muestro cómo quedan, se puede hacer lo mismo para otras fechas importantes como Navidad.

I have decorated some balloons for a Birthday. I have simply attached some napkins where it is written: "Happy Birthday" using scotch tape. Here I show you how they look, you can do the same for other important dates like Christmas.

Reciclar un par de palets para crear dos maceteros en una tienda - Recycle a couple of pallets to create two planters in a shop

Hace unas semanas estuve unos días de vacaciones con mi familia, en la costa de Málaga (España) dónde puedes encontrar mucha diversión y bonitos lugares. En el pueblo de Mijas, he visto en esta tienda llamada: "Boho Shop" cómo han reciclado un par de palets para crear dos maceteros. Me ha parecido algo creativo, por eso os lo muestro. La primera foto es de la fachada de la tienda y se ve el primer macetero abajo a la derecha. La segunda foto es de ese mismo macetero y la tercera foto es del otro macetero que han creado y que está situado arriba a la izquierda. Espero que os guste.

Few weeks ago I spent some days with my family, on the coast of Malaga (Spain) where you can find lots of fun and beautiful places. In the village of Mijas, I have seen in this shop called: "Boho Shop" how they have recycled a couple of pallets to create two planters. I thought it was creative, so I would like to show them to you. In the first picture is of the shop’s facade and you see the first planter on the bottom right. The second photo is from that same planter and the third photo is from the other planter that they have created and that is located at the top left. I hope you like them.

 

Haciendo maracas en Verano - Making

Mi hija ha hecho un par de maracas este Verano. Voy a mostrar en una foto los materiales para hacer una maraca. Son: un cilindro de cartón de papel higiénico, algo de arroz, dos globos y unas pinturas. Lo primero, es pintar el cilindro con las pinturas. Segundo, cortar dos globos, por la zona dónde empieza el tubo para soplar e inflar el globo. Tercero, se coloca esta parte más ancha del globo tapando un extremo del cilindro, se rellena de arroz y se cierra con la otra parte ancha del globo. Ya tenéis una maraca con un divertido sonido gracias al arroz. Ella ha hecho dos maracas, por eso ha usado dos cilindros, pero no he hecho foto de los otros globos.

My daughter has made a couple of maracas this summer. I will show in a photo the materials to make a maraca. They are: a cardboard toilet paper cylinder, some rice, two balloons and some paintings. The first thing is to paint the cylinder with the paints. Second, cut two balloons, by the area where the tube begins to blow and inflate the balloon. Third is placed this wider part of the globe covering one end of the cylinder to close it, filled with rice and closed with the other wide part of the globe. You already have a maraca with a funny sound thanks to rice. She made two maracas, so she used two cylinders, but I didn’t take a picture of the other balloons, sorry!

Adorno para mesa reciclando un bote de vidrio de tapa hermética - Table ornament recycling a glass jar with an airtight lid

He visto en el Hall del Hotel Ibis Budget de Amsterdam, este curioso adorno para una mesa de café hecho con un bote de vidrio con tapa hermética. Simplemente, han introducido una pequeña planta artificial, dentro de un bote de vidrio y lo han pegado al revés a la tapa hermética. Después le han dado la vuelta y ¡voilá! Así queda de bonito y divertido. ¿Os gusta?

I have seen in the Hall of the Ibis Budget Hotel in Amsterdam, this curious ornament for a coffee table made with a glass jar with an airtight lid. They have simply inserted a small artificial plant into a glass jar and glued it upside down to the airtight lid. Then they turned it around and voilà! So it looks nice and fun. Do you like it?

My daughter made her First Communion in this month of May, a very special day for her. For our guests we have given a candle and an organic soap from the soap Instagram: .jabones_flor_de_jade

Sencilla Cesta de Pascua para niñas y niños - Simple Easter Basket for children

Mi hija ha hecho esta sencilla Cesta de Pascua para llenarla con pequeños huevos de chocolates. No he hecho fotos de cómo la elaborado, pero es algo muy fácil. Primero, cogemos un vaso de plástico o de corcho, le pegamos una bola de algodón cómo cola de nuestro conejito. Segundo con unos trozos de cartulinas de color blanco y lila, hacemos una tira para asa de la cesta y la pegamos. Por último dibujamos una cara con orejas de conejo y también la pegamos a nuestro vaso. Espero que os guste cómo le ha quedado, y ¡Feliz Pascua!

My daughter has made this simple Easter Basket to fill with little chocolate eggs. I have not taken pictures of how the elaborate, but it is something very easy. First, we take a plastic or cork cup, we glue a cotton ball to it like our bunny’s tail. Second with some pieces of white and lilac cardboard, we make a strip to handle the basket and paste it. Finally we draw a face with rabbit ears and we also stick it to our glass. I hope you like how it looks, and Happy Easter!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reciclando unas ceras - Recycling some waxes

Mi hija tenía varias trozos de ceras y me daba pena no hacer nada con ellos. Los he puesto en unos moldes de silicona para hacer magdalenas y los he dejado en el horno unos diez minutos. Después los he quitado de los moldes y así puede ella aprovechar un tiempo más esos pequeños trozos de ceras. Os muestro las fotos.

My daughter had several pieces of waxes and I felt sorry for not doing anything with them. I put them in some silicone cupcakes and left them in the oven for about ten minutes. Then I took them out of the molds and so she can take advantage of those small pieces of wax. I show you the photos.
