He encontrado unas imágenes de Tarjetas Vintage de Pascua en internet. He impreso las imágenes en papel de colores. Después, las he colocado en cartulinas haciendo previamente unas incisiones en diagonal para colocar las esquinas de las imágenes. Aquí os muestro el proceso de creación de las tarjetas y el resultado final.

I have found some images of Easter Vintage Cards in Internet. I have printed the images in colors papers. Later, I have placed them in cardboards doing before some cuts in diagonal to place the corners of the images. Here I show you the making off of the cards and the final result.

Día del Padre - Father's Day

El próximo 19 de Marzo, es el día de San José en España, día del Padre. Vamos a regalar a mi padre un Cd de música. Para envolverlo, he usado papel Kraft, he puesto un bigote y escrito la frase: "Feliz Día Papá" junto a la fecha. Es nuestro pequeño homenaje a mi padre en su día especial.

Next March 19th, it is the day of Saint Joseph in Spain, Father's day. We are going to give a CD of music to my father. To wrap it, I have used Kraft paper, I have put a moustache and I have written the sentence: "Happy Day Dad " next to date. It is our small tribute to my father in his special day.

Cesta de Conejito para Pascua - Bunny Basket for Easter

Faltan poco más de dos semanas para Pascua. He pensado que es bonito hacer algo para sorprender a los niños. He encontrado una página preciosa dónde te permiten hacer juguetes con papel para niños. He escogido la Cestita para un conejito de Pascua. Es sencillo, solo tienes que imprimir la cesta, lo recortas, lo pegas y lo rellenas con lo qué quieras como caramelos, animales y huevos de chocolate.

Little more than two weeks leave for Easter time. I have thought that it is nice to make something to surprise to children. I have found a beautiful page where they allow you to do toys with paper for children. I have chosen the Basket for a Bunny of Easter. It is simple, you have to print the basket, cut it away, stick it and you can it refill with what you want as candies, animals and eggs of chocolate.

Huevos de Pascua - Easter Eggs

En España, no tenemos la tradición de pintar huevos para celebrar la Pascua, pero sí es algo muy popular en países del Centro de Europa. Mi marido que es de Países Bajos, hacía esta actividad cuándo era un niño, así que siguiendo esta tradición  hemos pintado un par de huevos. Primero los limpiamos y vacíamos pinchando en la parte superior e inferior con una aguja de las que se usan para coser lana. Después, atamos un hilo o cuerda en la parte superior y sellamos ambos agujeros con pegamento incoloro. Por último, con cuidado los pintamos con rotuladores poniendo motivos como: triángulos, corazones, rayas... 
Y para que queden bonitos los colgamos en unas ramas de Almendro con sus flores.

In Spain, we do not have the tradition to paint some eggs to celebrate Easter time, but it is something very popular in countries from centre of Europe. My husband who is from the Netherlands, did this activity when he was a child, so following this tradition we have painted a couple of eggs. Firstly, we clean them and empty them puncturing in the top and low part with a needle of those who are used to sew wool. Later, we tie a thread or small rope in the top part and seal both holes with colorless glue. Finally,  we paint carefully them with markers putting motives like: triangles, hearts, stripes... And in order that they remain nice we hang them on a few branches of Almond-tree with their flowers. These are the photos of this craft.

Tarjeta para el día de San Patricio - Card for St. Patrick Day

El próximo 17 de marzo será el día de San Patricio, muy importante en Irlanda. Mi amiga Tara, lo celebra porque su padre es Irlandés. Para ella he creado esta tarjeta reciclando una foto de un folleto de decoración dónde aparece un árbol. Usando un perforador hago círculos que pego para cubrir el dibujo que había hecho con los motivos de un trébol y el gorro de San Patricio. ¡Feliz día de San Patricio!

On next March 17th will be St. Patrick Day, a very important day in Ireland. My friend Tara, it celebrates because her father is Irish. For her, I have created this card recycling a photo of a decoration brochure where appears a tree. Using a hole punch I make some circles which ones I stick to cover the drawing that I have done with the motives of a clover and Saint Patrick's cap. Happy St. Patrick day!

Mantelitos individuales decorados usando moldes de galletas de Ikea- Individual Tablecloths decorated using Pastry cutters from Ikea

Para mi sobrino, he realizado cuatro Manteles Individuales de animales. He usado los Manteles de Ikea, fieltro rojo, los cortapastas de Ikea "Drömmar" de la Diseñadora Monika Mulder, lazos rojos, cuchara, tenedor y cuchillo de plástico, tijeras y pegamento. El proceso es sencillo, dibujas las formas de animales con el cortapastas en el fieltro, lo recortas y lo pegas al mantelito. Puedes añadir cubiertos de plástico con un lazo. Aquí está el resultado.

For my nephew, I have made four Individual Tablecloths of animals. I have used Ikea's Tablecloths, red felt, Ikea's pastry cutters "Drömmar" by Designer Monika Mulder, red ribbon, spoon, fork and knife of plastic, a pair of scissors and a bit of glue. The process is simple, you draw the forms of animals with the pastry cutter in the felt, cut it away and you it stick to the tablecloth. You can add cutlery of plastic with a ribbon. Here is the result.
