Broche de fieltro - Brooch of felt

Para mi amiga Cécile, he realizado un broche de fieltro con forma de flor. He usado fieltro blanco, abalorios negros, pegamento de contacto y un cierre especial de broche. Solo tienes que recortar tres trozos de fieltro y los unes cosiendo cuatro abalorios de color negro. Detrás, con pegamento fuerte pegas un broche especial y le pones un libro grueso encima para que se pegue bien. Aquí muestro el making off y el broche.

For my friend Cécile, I have realized a brooch of felt with form of a flower. I have used white felt, black glass beads, contact glue and a special closing for brooch. You have only to cut three chunks of felt and join them sewing four black glass beads. Behind of it, you stick using strong glue a special closing for brooch and put a thick book on it in order that it sticks well. I show here the making off and the brooch.

  

Brazalete reciclando sellos usados de correos - Bracelet recycling used postage stamps

En Primavera, tengo varios Cumpleaños de amigas. He decidido hacer un pequeño regalo para cada una de ellas. Para mi amiga S., he hecho una pulsera reciclando sellos usados de Alemania que ella me envía a menudo para mi colección. Solo hay que pegar los sellos en el brazalete y echar encima laca como la que se utiliza para fijar la pintura al óleo y trabajos manuales. Después, he metido el brazalete en una bolsita de organza. Aquí os lo muestro.

In Spring, I have several Birthdays of friends. I have decided to make a small gift for each of them. For my friend S., I have made a bracelet recycling some used postage stamps from Germany that she sends me quite often for my collection. It is only necessary to glue the stamps on bracelet and to punt  on them a bit of lacquer as the one that is in use for fixing the oil paint and some crafts. Later, I have put the bracelet in a organza bag. Here I show you.

Renovando Etiquetas adhesivas - Renewing Adhesive Labels

Las etiquetas adhesivas para identificar los sobres suelen ser estandar y poco originales. He renovado algunas mías cambiando un poco su forma y dibujando algo encima. He usado como "plantilla" para dar una nueva forma la tapa de una caja y un cilindro. Después, he decorado un poco el borde. También se puede cambiar su contorno con ayuda de unas tijeras con dientes. Aquí están mis etiquetas renovadas.

The adhesive labels to identify envelopes are quite standard and slightly original. I have renewed some of mine changing a little bit their form and drawing something on them. I have used as "template" to give a new form the lid of a box and a cylinder. Later, I have decorated a bit the edge.  It is also possible to change their outline with the help of special scissors. Here are my renewed labels.

Mi suegra, Sylvia me había regalado tres cartulinas diferentes. Para reciclarlas en postales, las he doblado y añadido unos adornos que me había regalado mi amiga Netty y una pinza de mariposa. Así quedan mis nuevas postales.

My mother-in-law, Sylvia had given me three different cardboards. To recycle them in postcards, I have folded them and added a few adornments that I had received as small gift from my friend Netty and a  butterfly. There are my new postcards.

Adorno para mesa de Pascua - Easter table ornament

Quería decorar una mesa para Pascua con algo muy sencillo. He cogido, un plato beige, unas hojas de hiedra de tonos verdes y rojos y unos huevos y un conejo de chocolate. Solo he tenido que agruparlos y ¡listo! Aquí mi adorno para la mesa.

I wanted to decorate a table for Easter with something very simple. I have taken a beige plate, some leaves of ivy of green and red tones and some chocolate eggs and a rabbit. I have only had to join them and it is ready! Here my ornament for the table.

Reutilizando una libreta - Reusing a notebook

Tenía una libreta que me habían regalado en una Feria de muestras. He pensado que sería útil reutilizarla para apuntar los menús y decoración de la mesa que preparo cuándo tenemos invitados. De esta forma,  siempre puedo recordar qué tipo de comida cociné y cómo estaba decorada la mesa para evitar repeticiones.
He pegado un papel de origami para decorar la portada de la libreta, he puesto una etiqueta adhesiva dónde he escrito la palabra "menús" y por último, he puesto papel auto-adhesivo para protegerlo. Os presento mi libreta reutilizada.

I had a notebook that I had received in a Trade fair. I have thought that it would be a useful reusing it to write the menus and table's decoration that I prepare when we have guests. Of this way, I can always remember what type of food I cooked and how the table was decorated to avoid repetitions. 
I have glued a paper of origami to decorate the front page of the notebook, I have put an adhesive label where I have written the word "menus" and as last step, I have put a piece of self-adhesive plastic to protect it. I introduce to you my reused notebook.
