En la Exposición "Re-crea", que visité el pasado mes de junio, en Casa de Zafra, Granada, España. He visto cómo han creado unas flores llenas de colores, usando materiales reciclado como cilindros de cartón de los rollos de papel higiénico, cucharas de plástico, tapones de plástico, plástico de botellas, papel de colores y briks de leche. Puedes encontrar mucha creatividad en estas flores, ¿verdad?

In the Exhibition "Re-Crea", that I visited last month of June, in Casa Zafra, Granada, Spain. I have seen how they have created some flowers full of colors, using recycled materials as cardboard cylinders from hygienic paper, plastic spoons, plastic caps, plastic bottles, paper of colors and milk briks. You can find many creativity in these flowers, can't it?

En la ciudad de Budapest, (Hungría), he visto una forma original de promocionar el alquiler de Bicicletas para visitar esta preciosa ciudad. En un par de bicicletas han colocado unos vaqueros que han reciclado junto con un par de zapatos y un par de botas. Después, con algún elemento que desconozco han rellenado las piernas, colocado el calzado y terminado el cuerpo colocando una maceta. Es una idea divertida de la empresa Zed Bikes.

In the city of Budapest, (Hungary), I have seen an original way of promoting the rent of Bicycles to visit this precious city. In a couple of bicycles there have placed two jeans which ones have recycled together with a pair of shoes and a pair of boots. Later, with some element that I do not know they have refilled the legs, placed the footwear and finished the body placing a flower pot. It is an funny idea of the company Zed Bikes.

En el Refugio del Burrito en Málaga, España. Hace unos meses, he visto un juego divertido para hacer al aire libre reutilizando tiestos de plástico de macetas. Ellos han clavado unos tiestos en una tabla de madera con clavos. Después, han pintado unas flores en cada uno de ellos y escrito un número en cada tiesto. El juego consiste en meter pelotas de tenis en cada tiesto para alcanzar la máxima puntuación. Es un juego de habilidad bastante simpático, quizás puedes hacerlo en vuestra terraza, patio o jardín.

In the Refugio del Burrito in Malaga, Spain. Few months ago, I have seen a funny game to play outdoors reusing some plastic flower pots. They have fixed a few pots in a wooden table with nails. After, have painted some flowers in each of them and written a number in every pot. The game consists of putting tennis balls in each pot to reach the maximum punctuation. It is a nice skill game, perhaps, you can do it in your terrace, court or garden.

Reciclar el tapón y el fondo de una botella de plástico de agua para crear animales - Recycling the stopper and the bottom of a plastic bottle of water to create some animals

En la Escuela de Verano que asistió mi hija hace unas semanas, hicieron algunas manualidades bonitas. Hoy, me gustaría mostrar cómo han reciclado el tapón y fondo de una botella de plástico de agua para crear dos simpáticos animales. El primer animal es un pez. Ellos han creado usando el tapón el cuerpo del pez, luego han pegado una aleta con un trozo de goma eva y le han puesto un ojo adhesivo. El segundo animal es una tortuga marina, que han creado usando el fondo de la botella como concha. La han pegado a un trozo de goma eva que hace de cuerpo, cola y patas y han pegado  purpurina dorada dentro de la concha. Por último, usando un par de rotuladores dorado y negro han dibujado los detalles de los animales.

In the Summer school that my daughter attended few weeks ago, did some nice crafts. Today, I would like to show you how they have recycled the stopper and the bottom of a plastic bottle of water to create two lovely animals. The first animal is a fish. They have created using the stopper the body of the fish, then they have glued a chunk of Eva foam as fin and have put an adhesive eye. The second animal is a marine tortoise, which they have created using the bottom of the bottle as shell. They have stuck it to a chunk of Eva foam who does of body, tail and legs and have glued golden glitter inside of the shell. As last step, using a couple of felt-tip pens in gold and black colour have drawn some details of animales.

En la tienda de segunda mano Opnieuw de Ámberes, (Bélgica), he visto cómo han reutilizado unos libros viejos para decorar la zona de venta de libros. Han unido varios libros usando un arco de madera y queda bastante bonito visualmente en mi opinión. A continuación os muestro parte del arco, detalle de cómo se han unido los libros y cómo queda entero.

In the shop of the second hand Opnieuw from Antwerp, (Belgium), I have seen how a few old books have been re-used to decorate the zone of sale of books. They have joined several books using an arch of wood and it remains nice enough visually in my opinion. Later, I show you part of the arch, detail of how the books have joined and how it looks entire.

Reutilizar camiseta usando parches - Reusing a t-shirt using some patches

Desde hace unos meses, es usual ver Unicornios en ropa y otros artículos. Los Unicornios están de moda en todo el mundo. En la tienda de Hema, he comprado un set con dos parches: un unicornio y un corazón que he puesto en una camiseta de mi hija. De esta forma, he conseguido reutilizar una camiseta con unas manchas imposibles de eliminar. Aquí os muestro el "antes" y "después" de esta iniciativa.

Some months ago, it is usual to see Unicorns in clothes and other articles. Unicorns are trendy in the whole world. In Hema's shop, I have bought a set with two patches: an unicorn and a heart that I have put in a t-shirt of my daughter. Of this form, I have managed to re-use a t-shirt with a few spots impossible to eliminate. Here I show you "before" and "after" of this initiative.
