Hello, I would like to show you some "Torrijas"that my mother has cooked today. This is a typical dessert of Spain that is cooked for "Easter". There are many recipes, but I like the traditional one that my mother prepares with bread type "baguette" from the previous day or already hard of two or three days before, it is a recipe similar to "French Toast". The preparation is as follows: slices of bread type "baguette" of the previous day or two or three days before and are soaked with milk that you can aromatize with lemon or orange peel. Then dip them in beaten egg and fry them in hot olive or sunflower oil. Finally, you can place them on a tray and sprinkle them with cinnamon and sugar or honey. Delicious!
