Los tres Reyes Magos reciclando rollos de cartón - The Three Wise Men recycling some cardboard rolls

En España, la tradición es que los niños reciben los regalos el día 06 de Enero traídos por los tres Reyes Magos de Oriente. Lo clásico, es que los niños ponen sus zapatos el día 05 de Enero, con algún alimento y bebida para los Reyes y sus camellos. El 06 por la mañana encuentran sus regalos, si han tenido un buen comportamiento durante el año anterior o carbón si han tenido un mal comportamiento. Es la primera vez que mi sobrino recibe sus regalos de los Reyes, así que he hecho unos muñecos representando a los Reyes. 

He reciclado rollos de cartón de papel higiénico, papel de regalo para su traje, papel blanco, pegamento, celo, tijeras, papel de regalo color plata recortado con tijeras especiales para que sea una corona, lapices y trozos de fieltro. Enrollo el papel de regalo en el rollo de cartón del papel higiénico y lo pego con pegamento y fixo. Mide unos 16 cms aproximadamente. Si sobra papel se puede meter dentro del cilindro. Hago la corona de la misma manera excepto que la corto con las tijeras especiales de "sierra" o "dientes". Después con el diámetro del rollo hago un círculo de papel blanco. Con él, pinto la cara y lo pego. Añado los trozos de fieltro creando la barba y el pelo,  y ya está preparado.

El rey de la barba blanca es Melchor, el de la barba pelirroja es Gaspar y el de la barba negra es Baltasar.

In Spain, the tradition is that the children receive the gifts on January 06th brought from three Wise Men (Magi). The classical behaviour, is that the children put their shoes on January 05th, with some food and drink for the Wise Men and for their camels. In the morning on 06th, they find their gifts, if they have had a good behavior during the previous year or some of coal if they have had an evil behavior. It is the first time that my nephew receives his gifts from the three Wise Men, so I have made three dolls representing them. 

I have recycled  some cardboard rolls of toilet paper, gift paper for his suit, white paper, glue, Scotch tape, a pair of usual scissors, silver gift paper cut away with a pair of special scissors in order that it is a crown, pencils and some chunks of felt. I coil the gift paper all around the core of toilet paper and sticks it with glue and Scotch tape. It measures approximately 16 cms. If exceeds gift paper, you can put it inside of the cylinder. I do the crown of the same way unless I cut her using the special scissors of "saw" or "teeth". Later with the diameter of the roll (core) I do a circle of white paper. With it, I paint the face and stick it. I add the chunks of felt creating the beard and hair and it is already finished.

The first man with the white beard is Melchor, the second one with the red-haired beard is Gaspar and the last one with the black beard is Baltasar.
