El corcho, de las botellas de vino o champán, es un material muy usado en España, Portugal, Francia o Italia. Con un plato de madera, un poco de pegamento fuerte y cortando los corchos a lo largo, podéis crear un bonito salvamanteles o posavasos, ¡es un magnífico aislante del calor y frío! Aquí, podéis ver el proceso y los resultados en dos fotos diferentes. La primera es un salvamanteles preparado para regalar hecho con corchos Españoles, y otro con corchos Portugueses de nuestro viaje a Porto que regalamos a mi cuñada Lidwine y su novio Eelco.

Cork, from the bottles of wine or champagne, is a material very used in Spain, Portugal, France or Italy. Using a plate of wood, a bit of strong glue and cutting the corks lengthways, you can create a nice tablemat or coasters, it is a great insulating surface of the heat and cold!
